 Allan Howie - Rob the Builder Junior Chorus:
Allan was involved in a lot of theatre, including pantos
every year during his formative child and teenage years. Abi Whitehouse, Finlay Craill, Tyler Craill,

This is Alsa's second play for Titirangi Theatre this year,

following her role in Wyrd Sisters as the psychotic Thomas Sparey, Ben Stoffels-Butlin, Danny
Duchess. While the less than motherly role of Mother
Hubbard is not really art imitating life, Alsa does write a Stoffels-Butlin, Jimmy Stoffels-Butlin.

sons (both of whom she knows the names of!) Having
appeared in her last panto 24 years ago, Alsa is thrilled
to finally be doing another one - such fun.

Alan J. Thomson - Big Bad Wolf

Alan hails from Yorkshire and got into acting two years
back. A tentative start in 2014 with Agatha Christies
Murder on the Nile, closely followed with Sleeping
Beauty, Its Never Too Late, Blackadder, Calendar Girls,
Life & Beth, Wyrd Sisters and just last month, the
pinnacle of his career, the musical Fire on the River. He
lives on a cliff above Blockhouse Bay beach and is an avid
gardener, squash player and artist. Every play has been
so different and Pigs is a refreshing panto, and it's fun to
have to interact with children again (after many years not being around them).

 Ella Bernstone - Prince
Hi, My name is Ella Bernstone, I'm 18 years old and have been
doing amateur theatre since 2010. I did Dick Whittington and
Bob the Cat back in 2010, and always kept an eye on Panto
season at Titirangi theatre, so getting the chance to come back
and play the prince was exciting. The script is easily humourous,
and having Chris as the director as well is simply the cherry on
the top.
J B Woolston - Big Bad Wolf
This is his second theatre appearance, his first being the produc-
tion of Terry Pratchetts Wyrd Sisters earlier this year also at Titi-
rangi Theatre.
While hesitant to perform in a pantomime (He wasnt sure what
one was) He found it to be great fun especially with such a talent-
ed creative team from the Director/writer (who wrote this drivel)
to the stage manager through to the wonderfully talented actors
young and not so young who have brought all the funny they had
been hiding at home!

Robin Lane - Granny Hubbard

Abi Whitehouse - Page
This is Abi's second show at Titirangi she
played Bonnie the blind girl in Messiah on the
Frigidaire this year. She has been involved
with theatre mainly musicals since she was 7.
Robin has been acting in Amateur Productions since the age of 5, but after
an absence while studying at University Robin is very excited to finally
return to the stage and make his New Zealand stage debut! Robin has
previous played roles such as the Ugly Sister in Cinderella, the Sheriff of
Nottingham in Robin Hood and Javert in Les Misrables (School Edition). A
young man in his twenties with a beard is not the obvious choice to play an
elderly grandmother but Robin is thrilled to continue the tradition of the
Pantomime Dame (Even if it means having to shave his beard off!).

Brandi Syms - Red Riding Hood

Brandi is 13 years old and goes to Green Bay
Intermediate. Has always been involved in her
school productions since she was young. This is her
first time performing with Titirangi Theatre. She
looks forward to doing more performances in the
future.

Pania Williamson - Gammo

This is Pania's third role with Titirangi theatre and her
first pantomime. Much enjoyment has been had
wallowing in mud and honking it up as a pig, the more
intelligent out of the 3 she would like to add.

 Francene McIlroy - Spammo
This is my second show at Titirangi. I grew up doing musicals
at Playhouse Theatre between the age of 10-19. I took a 17
year break during this time I got married and had two gor-
geous boys. Last year I returned to the Playhouse to play
Ruth in Calendar Girls which won me a best actress NAPTA
award. Im super excited to be doing my first show with my
sons. This is dedicated to my Dad Brian Clark who played
the Dames in the Playhouse Theatre Pantos.
Lily Tongue - Little Red Riding Hood
Lily Has been doing acting classes for three
terms with the green room. She was given a
lead role in her school production at Glen
Eden playhouse theatre. She loves acting and
wants acting to be her career. Lily is looking
forward to being involved in many more plays
in the Titirangi Theatre.

Tomas McIlroy - Hammo

This Tomas first ever show. He did stage hand for the school
production this year so is not used to being seen on stage. He Heather Wallace - Little Red Riding Hood
has been having so much fun at rehearsals and finally getting to Heather is excited to be performing in this
play a character is exciting hilarious pantomime. This is no ordinary fairy-
tale; heaps of fun for kids and adults alike. She

John McGowan - Builders Mate conversation with the Big Bad Wolf!
Always the reluctant thespian but first trod the boards as
Bert in Harold Pinter's The Room, 50+ years ago, then a
maturing teenager!! Retiring peaceably to Titirangi he was
again dragged on to the stage in Pratchett's Wyrd Sisters
as a guard. In this panto he plays the long suffering Rob
the builder's mate with some inane lines to suit the Charlotte Shores - Little Red Riding Hood
dimwit that he's not. In the final scene he gets his Charlotte is an intermediate student who
justifiable promotion but Rob gets the cake!! Come and adores art, cooking, keyboard and acting.

Sally McGowan - Nanny

Starred in Wyrd Sisters, in various roles, in her first
theatre experience for many a year!! Having enjoyed The
Titirangi Theatre atmosphere and vibe so much, she is
now really loving her role as Nanny in The Panto!! Having
got the "bug" shes now joined a talent agency and has
had a couple of "extra" roles in some TV dramas!
