God or Ancient Astronauts

Religion can be traced back to the dawn of human civilization and many religions

believe their gods created mankind. It has evolved, multiplied, and spread through every

corner of the known world as the years progressed. Buddhists believe in Buddha as the

creator of all things, Muslims believe in Allah and Mohammad being his last profit,

Christians believe in God and their savior, Jesus Christ. Bronze age civilizations believed in

numerous gods that quarreled among themselves using humans as their playthings. Before

that people looked to the skies for the Gods and named those deities as things that they

could not explain. Not a single scientist, historian, or religious fanatic can provide feasible

evidence to where religions started or how they started. One thing is for certain, religion

started in all civilizations, isolated from one another, and believed in one similar thing, a

higher being. If religious texts are taken literally, maybe a higher being did visit Earth and

our early ancestors. The evidence can be found all over the world.

At an evolutionary viewpoint, man evolved from chimpanzee like ancestors that

eventually began to walk on two legs, and as a result developed a larger brain that was

capable of higher intelligence. “…the next step in the physical evolution ,the Homo

Neanderthals show a tremendous spurt of intelligence with cave drawings, more refined

weapons and accessories and much more complex social structures and rituals…There

seems to be no intermediate fossil find to prove that the intelligence also developed

chronologically to and from the level that we find in Homo Neanderthals. Our professor

explained that there is a concept called the ‘missing link.’” (Roychowdhury) Many religious

people that tend to accept evolution as a scientific fact say that this is the point in history

where god created man in his image.

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness…”(Genesis 1:26 as

appears in Roychowdhury) Today humans have the technology to clone DNA as well as

whole organisms. If ancient astronauts did land on the Earth thousands of years ago, then

they were obviously further along technologically speaking than we are today. It is not very

inconceivable that with their advancement in technology, they could simply alter a small

amount of DNA of Homo-Erectus or even interbreed with them. These aliens could have

been our evolutionary “missing link.” This accounts for the sudden “jump” of intelligence.

John Cohane (1977) writes, “Until one arrives at Cro-Magnon man, about 30,000 BC, it is

impossible to hold up a single piece of fossil evidence and say with assurance: ‘This came

from an ancestor of man.’” (Saylor) He discusses other evidence and concludes, “…and this

evidence indicating that only 10,000 years ago there was a sudden and unaccountable

emergence of a full-blown intelligent civilization…” (Saylor) Man went from stick like tools

to get grubs from the ground to agriculture, structures, culture, and even languages both

verbal and written in a relatively too short of a period of time.

This interbreeding theory, part of the Ancient Astronaut Theory, is supported

through many religious texts, including the Bible. “And it came to pass, when men began to

multiply on the face of the Earth, and daughter were born unto them, That the sons of God

saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them as wives of all which they

chose… There were nephilim in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons

of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same

became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.” (Genesis 6:1-4 as appears in

Roychowdhury) The nephilim are translated to be “giants” but the word can also be

interpreted to mean “those who came down” or “those who descended”. The Epic of

Giglamesh is the oldest known written story and the original version of the story stems

from the oldest known civilization, the Sumerians. “We learn that Giglamesh was a mixture

of ‘god’ man - two-thirds ‘god’, one-third man. Pilgrims who came to Uruk [city that

Giglamesh ruled] gazed up at him in fear and trembling because they had never seen his

like for beauty and strength. In other words, the beginning of the narrative contains the

idea of inter-breeding between ‘god’ and man yet again.”(Daniken 55-56)

The Sumerians also mention the nephilim as the Anunnaki in their ancient writings.

In ancient Summerian texts the Anunnaki are said to be “those who from heaven to earth

came,” just like that of the nephilim. Many historians have made the connection and say

that these two “extraterrestrial” beings are one in the same. This is conceivable because

Moses, from the Bible, had access to ancient texts stored in the palace libraries of the

Egyptian Empire. Many scholars believe that most of the old testament relates to the

Sumerian texts and might actually be taken from them (Roychowdhury).

The Sumerian civilization flourished in what is now modern day southern Iraq. This

civilization ended around 2000 BC but it is unknown when it actually began. Estimations

claim it to have originated in roughly 8500 BC. These people were highly advanced having

cities, government, agriculture and even irrigation. These feats were thought to have been

out of their reach. (Roychowdhury) It is as though they were helped or given a “push” in

the right direction, and maybe the Anunnaki were responsible for this. “Throughout the

history of the Near East it was known that the Sumerians claimed their civilization really

began to flower when they made contact with a sky creature who flew down into the sea in

a ship…Apparently, it met repeatedly with a Sumerian native on a beach and gave him

many of its secrets, among them the gift of the alphabet/writing. This legend, or story, was

passed down through generations and numerous tribes, including the Babylonians.”

Sumerian records detail the Anunnaki with precision and detail. They name

numerous Anunnaki and give accounts about these individuals as if they witnessed the

events. It is written that these “gods” would hold council and settle their differences there

and use men as their “pawns.” (Roychowdhury) This resembles Greek mythology and the

stories of the Olympian gods. “Von Daniken's (Odyssey of the Gods) exhausting research

suggests the Greek 'gods' were in fact extraterrestrial beings who arrived on Earth

thousands of years ago. Archaeological evidence and the writings of the ancients, including

Aristotle, prove these gods interbred with humans, performed genetic experiments, and

bred 'mythical' creatures, such as centaurs and Cyclops... According to Greek mythology,

there once was a time when great events had occurred and the gods had involved

themselves in human affairs. These gods were described as the ‘perfect humans.’”

More evidence that extraterrestrials life forms are the basis for all of the religions

around the globe comes from detailed reports of their technologies. Many ancient texts

and religious writings talk about same type of technology, flying machines. Again, the Epic

of Giglamesh holds an unbelievable account of this. On the seventh tablet Enkidu tells the

readers of his ride in the brazen talons of an Eagle. “‘Look down at the land. What does it

look like? Look at the see. How dies it seem to you? And the land looked like porridge and

the sea like a water-trough.’ In this case some living creature must have seen the earth

from a great height. The account is too accurate to have been the product of pure

imagination… Because the earth actually does look like a jig-saw puzzle of porridge and the

water-troughs from a great height.” (Daniken 57)

Other ancient writings run parallel to that of the Epic of Giglamesh and its account of

flying machines. Vedas are ancient texts found and studied in India, and the knowledge

within them is said to be given to them by the Anunnaki. The Vedas discuss numerous

accounts of flying chariots, vimanas, and flying machines that fire comes out of. “Many

excerpts of ancient sanskrit texts refer to the vimanas: ‘two storey sky chariots with many

windows, ejecting red flame, that race up into the sky until they look like comets . . . to the

regions of both the sun and the stars.’” (Roychowdhury) Not only do the texts mention

these machines, they give instructions on how to take care of them, how to steer them, and

long flight precautions. These Vedas are written in the first known language of human

civilization, Sanskrit, and therefore date back over 10,000 years. (Roychowdhury)

Somehow these people not only saw flying machines, but also knew how to operate them.

According to current views of our ancestors, they should have been trying to discover the

wheel rather than trying to fly around the world.

Accounts of the sophisticated technologies of the astronauts that visited us can even

be found in the Bible. The tale of the destruction of Sodom demonstrates such technology

and power. The story tells of Lot being visited by two angels (extra-terrestrials) and they

warned him to leave Sodom with his family and to hide in the mountains or face complete

destruction. They did so and the city was destroyed. The following day Abraham looked

down upon the city and said that there is simply nothing there, no vegetation and no city,

just smoke rising from the land. (Genesis 19 as appears in Biblegetaway.com) If the angels

are referred to as ancient astronauts then the only logical explanation for this sudden

destruction of a city is some kind of weapon of mass destruction, maybe like the atomic

bombs that dropped on Japan during World War II. This would also explain why they were

told to hide in the mountain because mountains heavily block radiation, and would protect

them not only from the blast and blinding light, but the radiation afterwards. (Daniken 45-

47)

Historians and scientists alike have been very reluctant to believe this Ancient

Astronaut Theory and simply say that if they were here, then where is the evidence? The

evidence is all around the world. The greatest and easiest example to analyze is one of the

Seven Wonders of the World, the great pyramid of Giza. This immense object was said to be

constructed thousands of years before the birth of Christ in 2560 BC. It is estimated that it

would have taken 600 years to construct the pyramid that is made of two and half million

stones weighing as much hundreds to thousands of tons a piece. Yet the ancient Egyptians

seemed to have constructed it in less than 20 years. (world-mysteries.com) This seems

impossible enough, but an even more mysterious fact shrouds the monolithic structure.

“The Pyramid lies in the center of gravity of the continents. It also lies in the exact center of

all the land area of the world, dividing the earth's land mass into approximately equal

quarters. The north-south axis (31 degrees east of Greenwich) is the longest land meridian,

and the east-west axis (30 degrees north) is the longest land parallel on the globe. There is

obviously only one place that these longest land-lines of the terrestrial earth can cross, and

it is at the Great Pyramid!” (world-mysteries.com) This fact seems preposterous. There is

no feasible explanation that allows ancient people, who supposedly had no knowledge of

the world being round, continents, or even the concept of longitude or latitude could have

built something that lies in the exact center of the world. There is just no way for them to

have known where the center of the world was, and to precisely place a structure the size

of the Great Pyramid of Giza there is just too outstanding for coincidence. A higher more

divine being must have told or instructed them where exactly to place the pyramid, but for

reasons we do not yet realize.

Another piece of physical evidence that creatures landed here thousands of years

ago comes from the maps of Admiral Piri Reis. These maps are copies of originals that are

estimated to be thousands of years old, yet they map Antarctica, North and South America,

along with Africa and The Mediterranean coastline. This, however, is not the most startling

feature of these maps. Even though Antarctica was not discovered until fairly recently, and

the Americas just a couple hundred years ago, these maps show startling distortions of

these places. These maps resemble the maps of the globe with the epicenter being Cairo,

Egypt. The distortions are perfectly accurate for not only the immediate surroundings of

Egypt and the coastline of the Mediterranean, but South America, North America, and even

Antarctica are drawn to perfect scales. These maps are images taken high above the Earth

and the distortions are the same distortions seen from a shuttle orbiting the planet.

Another feature that astonishes historians and geologists today is the physical features

drawn on these maps. The coastlines of the Americas and Antarctica are not just drawn

with incredible accuracy but so are the mountain ranges in the interior. The mountain

ranges of Antarctica were drawn precisely where they lie. This seems impossible since that

mountain range has been covered in ice for over 9000 years and was not even discovered

until 1952. (Daniken 24-25)

Again there is no possible way for mankind having just come out of the Stone Age to

have known where Antarctica or the Americas were, let alone the mountain ranges within

them. Modern thinking up until a few hundred years ago was that the Earth was flat and

yet there were maps that prove the Earth was round. Even more intriguing was that these

maps could only have been taken from a vantage point high above the surface of the Earth,

like a satellite or a shuttle orbiting the Earth. Since man did not even get off the ground

until the early 1900’s it is impossible to think that a bronze age civilization could have done

such a tremendous feat and not been known globally. The only explanation is that some

kind of far more intelligent race left these maps for our ancient ancestors to have and use

even though they did not quite know what they entirely were.

Many religions around the world believe that their God or Gods have been the ones

to give us all of our knowledge and that he or she is just a greater being. Is it really hard to

imagine that God was actually a greater being that visited us in our ancestor’s lifetime?

These higher beings visited a people much more primitive than themselves, and to these

primitive people their technologies and advancements would have seemed like magic or

god like capabilities simply because they had no other way to explain the things they saw.

Evidence lies all over the world, from the pyramids of Egypt, to the Maps of ancient naval

officers. The evidence that they were our gods can be found in our religious and ancient

texts, from the writings in the Bible by Moses to the Epic of Giglamesh and the Vedas of the

Indians. More proof exists all over the world and if an open mind is applied it becomes

more and more logical that we are descendants of some ancient astronaut race.
