 STATISTICAL QUALITY CHART PROJECT SYNOPSIS

Quality has turned out to be a standout amongst the most imperative client
choice factors in the choice amongst the contending item and administrations.
Therefore, understanding and enhancing quality is a key factor prompting
business achievement, development and an improved focused position.
Subsequently quality change program ought to be a fundamental in the general
business methodology.

As per TQM, the successful approach to enhance the nature of the item or
administration is to enhance the processes used to fabricate the item.
Henceforth, TQM concentrates on process, instead of results as the processes
drive the results.

OBJECTIVE

To assess the quality of the soaps on the basis of the following parameters:
Surface Finish
Color Variability
Spots on the soap
Band like appearances on the soaps

TOOLS AND TECHNIQUES USED

A detailed analysis would be carries out and the following tools and techniques
would be used:
X and R Chart
U Chart

ROADMAP

Set up control charts for monitoring and suggesting alternatives for

processes.
Trace out causes for the defects identified.
Suggest alternatives for causes.
