to Explore the Effectiveness of Clients Project
in Aiding the Average Users Road Mapping Abilities

The intent of this focus group is to test the average users ease and efficiency at using Clients
Project to complete basic road mapping tasks, which will be provided as part of the focus group. This
research is done for the client of New Venture Lab, Client. The benefits of this research will provide the
client with the information needed to reach their target market of supplying oil truck drivers with a safer
and more efficient way of mapping routes to known oil wells.

We will be video recording this focus group to increase our accuracy of a detailed and
complete study. If for some reason you say something during the discussion that you dont
want as part of the record transcript, the information can be removed at your request.
The time required for this study is 45 minutes and we will end on time unless all
participants express wanting to extend the time frame in order to share more insights.
The nature of this focus group includes an video recording. Washington State Law provides
that private conversations may not be recorded, intercepted, or divulged without
permission of the individual(s) involved.
Your participation is entirely voluntary. You may withdraw from the study at any time
without penalty.
You are free to refuse answering any questions you find objectionable.
All collected data is confidential. Your identity will be protected through the use of a
pseudonym when information is presented in written form to the client.
All collected data is for the purpose of this study for Client only.
No costs or payment are associated with participating in this focus group.
You may see the data and any written work pertaining to your participation at anytime by
requesting access from the Principal Investigator, John Doe, at the above email address.
