Abstract
In the first of fluid mechanics, the densities and viscosities of several fluids such as: water,
alcohol, SAE 40 oil, EP90 oil were known and calculated, and the phenomenon of
capillarity between two glass plates separated by a minimum distance was observed. In
part A the hydrometer and bottles were used to determine the specific gravity and density.
After that, in part B, the viscosity of the fluids SAE 40 and oil SAE 90 mentioned above
was determined, with the help of three spheres of different diameter, the time it takes to
travel a distance is measured and proceeds to determine with calculations mathematics,
the coefficient of viscosity and kinematic viscosity. In the third part only consisted of
witnessing a fluid between two flat glass plates.
