Just like the Bible is very clear that true Christians should not worship idols, it is also very

clear when it comes to the

use of blood.

The first one who was allowed to eat meat, was Noah after the Flood. But he was commanded in Genesis 9:3,4 to
abstain from eating blood.

Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. But flesh with
the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.

This command was given to Noah and all his descendents, so since we come from him, this applies to all humans
today.

What about the Jews in the nation of Israel?

Leviticus 17:13-16 says

13 And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth
and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust. 14
For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat
the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off. 15 And
every soul that eateth that which died of itself , or that which was torn with beasts, whether it be one of your own
country, or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even: then
shall he be clean. 16 But if he wash them not, nor bathe his flesh; then he shall bear his iniquity.

Was it serious to eat blood? In the end of verse 14 it says that someone who ate it would be cut off. It means death
penalty.

But this was part of the Law of Moses that was given to the nation of Israel. Christians are not required to follow the
Mosaic Law, so what does the Bible say about the use of blood by true Christians? In your own King James Bible you
will see in Acts 15:28, 29 that all Christians are commanded to abstain from blood

Acts 15:28, 29 says:

For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; That
ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, [or, killed without draining their
blood] and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well. ! (There the eating of
blood is as serious as idolatry and fornication, things that we should not want to engage in.)

Jesus said in the Sermon on the Mount:

Go in through the narrow gate, because broad is the gate and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and
many are going in through it; whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are finding
it. (Matthew 7:13, 14)

We have to make our own choices if we want to walk through the narrow gate and follow the cramped road or if we
want to follow the crowd who dont want to obey the Bible.

If your Bible says one thing and someone else says it is not so important, who will you follow Denia?
