VACANCY FOR PORTFOLIO GP PARTNERS

An exciting opportunity has arisen for dynamic GPs keen to be part of developing a modern
innovative model of GP Partnership involving Portfolio working to deliver high quality person
focused care to the practice population.

You will be part of a partnership working in well-established two site purpose built premises
serving a population of 7800 patients covering the University town of Loughborough as well
as the rural population in the north of Loughborough. You will have the resources of
Loughborough Hospital, Loughborough Urgent Care Centre, University based MSK services,
and a Dispensary serving part of the practice population. You will join a high QOF attaining
GMS practice rated Good by the CQC that has a director on the dynamic forward thinking
North Charnwood Federation, and be able to influence the advanced plans being formulated
by the locality GPs in the Federation. This will include extending the current practice
engagement in undergraduate teaching to Registrar training.

As part of portfolio development, working with the North Charnwood Federation, the
successful candidates will have opportunities to work within local practices, our local Care
Home Scheme, and Loughborough Urgent Care Centre as well as be involved in the
management and clinical leadership roles of the Federation promoting sustainable General
Practice and the development of the new Multi-speciality Community Provider Model in our
area.

THE PRACTICE

Population: 7800

Locations: Maxwell Drive Surgery covering North Loughborough

Cross Street Surgery based in the village of Hathern and covering surrounding
villages in Charnwood and Rushcliffe, with a part dispensing population

Both sites have undergone significant growth in housing and there is further extensive
planned residential expansion in the practice area up to 2028

Staff: 5 GPs (part time), 1 ECP, 2 Nurses, 3 HCA, 3 Dispensers

Excellent Management Team and administrative support

THE POST

Multiple posts are available with flexible options up to 9 sessions per week. Full time posts
will include one management session and on call commitment with ECP support. Part time
posts will have pro rate adjustments

Special interests encouraged in clinical and non-clinical areas

6 weeks annual leave, 1 week study leave (both pro rata WTE), NHS pension and Medical
Indemnity Insurance
