Madad Ya Sahib Saif

Dua:

Allahuma Barik lana fi Rajaba wa Sha`bana wa ballighna Ramadan

O Allah bless us in Rajab and Sha`ban and Ramadan

Any person who recites every Friday 100 times Surah Ikhlaas in the month of Rajab, on
the day of Resurrection a light (Noor) will emanate from within him, and this light (Noor)
will enter him into paradise. Any person who recites 70000 times Istighfaar in the month
of Rajab will be forgiven by Allah.

Fasting during the Holy month of Rajab

Rajab is a very blessed month. The Holy Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.s) said: The month
of Rajab is the month of Allah. The month of Shaban is my month and the month of
Ramadan is for my Ummah.

1. Whosoever fasts one day in the month of Rajab purely seeking the pleasure of
Allah, will receive Allahs ridha (pleasure, reward).
2. Whosoever fasts two days in the month of Rajab there will be no one in the
heavens or the earth to judge how much honour they have - only Allah will know.
3. Whosoever fasts for three days in the month of Rajab, Allah (s.w.t.) will create a
barrier for them against the fires of hell.
4. Whosoever fasts for four days in the month of Rajab, Allah (s.w.t) will protect
them from madness, leprosy, skin diseases and fitnah dajal (slander without
proof).
5. Whosoever fasts seven days in the month of Rajab, Allah (s.w.t.) will close all the
doors of hell for them.
6. Whosoever fasts eight days in the month of Rajab, Allah (s.w.t.) will open all the
doors of the heaven to them.
7. Whosoever fasts ten days in the month of Rajab, they will not have to ask Allah
(s.w.t.) for anything for He will give them more then they desire.
8. Whosoever fasts fifteen days in the month of Rajab, Allah (s.w.t.) will forgive all
their past deeds and change all their bad deeds into good deeds.
9. Sayyidina Ayesha (r.a.) reported that the Holy prophet (s.a.w.s.) said: whosoever
fasts continually in the month of Rajab, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Allah
(s.w.t.) will write down for each day the reward of 900 years of accepted
worship.
10. Whosoever fasts on the 27th of Rajab, Allah (s.w.t.) will write down the reward for
them of 27 years of worship.
 11. Sayyidina Ayesha (r.a.) reported from the Holy Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.s):
All the people on the Day of Judgement will be suffering from hunger and
thirst except those who are from the prophets families and those who are
fasting Rajab, Shaban and Ramadan. They will feel full and satisfied from
thirst and hunger.

Dua of the Wali Abbas to read 3 times every day in Rajab

Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Raheem

Allahuma innee istaghfiruka min kulli maa tubtu lahu ilayka thumma 'udtu feeh. wa
istaghfiruka min kulli maa 'aradtu bihi wajhika wa-khaalatanee feehi maa laysa feehi
ridaak. wa istaghfiruk li-ni`am allatee taqawwaytu biha `ala ma`aseeyatik. wa
istaghfiruka min aadh-dhunub allatee laa ya`lamahu ghayruka wa laa yattali`u `alayha
ahadu n siwaak wa laa yasa`uha illa rahmatika wa la tunjee minha illa maghfiratuka wa
hilmuka. laa ilaha illa-Anta, subhaanak! innee kuntu min adh-dhaalimeen.

Allahuma innee istaghfiruka min kulli dhulmin dhalamtu bihi `ibadaka. Fa ayyaama
`abdin min `ibaadik aw `amatin min 'imaa'ika dhalamtu fee badanihi aw `irdihi aw maalih
fa `atihi min khazaa'inik allatee laa tanqus. Wa as'aluka an tukrimanee bi rahmatika
allatee wasi`at kulla shay wa laa t`uheenanee min `adaabik wa ta`teeayanee maa as'aluka
fa-innee haqeequn bi-rahmatik ya arham ur-Raahimeen. Wa salla-Allahu `ala Sayiddina
Muhammadin wa `ala alihi wa sahbihi ajma`een. wa laa hawla wa laa quwatta illa billah
il-`Alee ul-'Aadheem

In the name of Allah, the All-Beneficent, the All-Merciful

O Allah, I ask forgiveness of You for everything for which I repented to You then
returned to. And I ask forgiveness of You for everything I displeased You with and all that
concerns me with which You are displeased. And I ask forgiveness of You for the favors
which I used for increasing my disobedience towards You. And I ask forgiveness of You
for the sins which no one knows except You and no one sees except You and nothing
encompasses except Your Mercy and nothing delivers from except Your forgiveness and
clemency. There is no god except You alone. You are the Most High, and I was one of the
[self] oppressors!
O Allah, I ask forgiveness of You for the injustice I committed against Your servants.
Whatever of Your male or female servants whom I have hurt, physically or in their
dignity or in their property give them of Your bounty which lacks nothing. And I ask You
to honor me with Your mercy which encompasses all things. Do not humble me with
Your punishment but give me what I ask of You, for I am in great need of Your mercy, O
Most Merciful of the merciful. May Allah send blessings upon Muhammad and upon all
his companions. There is no power and no might except in Allah the High, the Exalted.

Gabriel (peace be upon him) informed me of this, and then he went on to say: "O
Muhammad, this a clear sign to mark the distinction between you true believers, on
the one hand, and the polytheists [mushrikin] and hypocrites [munafiqin] on the
other, because the hypocrites do not perform that ritual prayer

Fast -1st day of Rajab have Ghusl- bath for cleansing all sins - pray 10 rakat nafil
namaz in 2 rakat salam. In each rakat after Alhamdo pray Surah Kaferoon 3 times and
Surah Ikhlas (kulhuwalla) 3 times. After completing the namaz - Recite: La ilaha illallahu
Wahdahu la sharikalah, lahul mulku, walahul hamdu, yuhyi wa yumitu, wa Huwa hayyun
la yamoot, bi ya dihil khairu, wa Huwa ala kulli shainin Qadeeer. Allahumma laa
maania lima ataita, wa laa mutiya lima manata, wa laa, yanfau zhaljaddi, minkali
jadd.

Fast -15th day of Rajab Ghusl- bath -for cleansing all sins- pray 10 rakah like 1st and
with Dua : Recite: La ilaha illallahu Wahdahu la sharikalah, lahul mulku, walahul
hamdu, yuhyi wa yumitu, wa Huwa hayyun la yamoot, bi ya dihil khairu, wa Huwa ala
kulli shainin Qadeeer. Ilahan, Waahidan, Ahadan, Samadan, Fardan, Witraa. Laa
yattakhidhu sohibatan wa laa waladaa.

Fast -30th day of Rajab Ghusl- bath -for cleansing all sins - Pray 10 rakah like 1st day t
with Dua - Last day of Rajab: Recite: La ilaha illallahu Wahdahu la sharikalah, lahul
mulku, walahul hamdu, yuhyi wa yumitu, wa Huwa hayyun la yamoot, bi ya dihil khairu,
wa Huwa ala kulli shainin Qadeeer.wa Sallahu ala Sayyidina Muhammadin wa ala
alihith-thohireen, laa hawla wa laa quwwata illa billahil aliyyil adzheem.

When the worshipper has duly performed his ritual prayer [salat] on the first night of
Rajab, he is recommended to offer the following prayer of supplication [du'a']:

"O Allah, to You the applicants apply this night, to You the aspirants aspire, and for Your
gracious bounty and beneficence the seekers look in hope. You have special favors
[nafahat] to bestow this night, and prizes and gifts and presents. You will bestow them
upon whomever You choose from among Your servants, and You will withhold them from
those who are not ready to receive Your providential care ['inaya]. Well, here am I, Your
servant who is sorely in need of You, hoping for Your gracious bounty and beneficence! If
it pleases You, O my Master [ya Mawlaya], to bestow Your grace this night upon one of
Your creatures, and if You will be so generous as to grant him a favor out of Your
kindness, then bless Muhammad and his family, and let me enjoy Your superabundance
and beneficence, O Lord of All the Worlds [ya Rabba'l-'Alamin]!"

'Ali ibn Abi Talib (karamAllah wajhu) would devote himself entirely to worship during
four nights of the year, namely: The first night of Rajab; the night of the [Festival of]
Fastbreaking [lailat al-Fitr]; the night of the [Festival of] Sacrifices [lailat al-Adha]; and
the night of the middle of Sha'ban. Here is the prayer of supplication [du'a'] he used to
offer on those nights:

"O Allah, bless Muhammad and his family, those lanterns of wisdom [masabih al-hikma],
masters of grace [mawali 'n-ni'ma] and mines of virtue [ma'adin al-'isma]! Let them be
my protection against all evil. Do not take me by surprise or unawares. Do not cause the
outcome of my life's work to be nothing but disappointment and regret. May it please You
to view me with favor, for Your forgiveness is granted to the wrongdoers and I am one of
the wrongdoers. O Allah, forgive me that which cannot do You any harm, and grant me
that which cannot bring You any benefit. You are the One whose Mercy [Rahma] is all-
embracing, the One whose Wisdom [Hikma] is incomparable, so grant me the blessings
of comfort and composure, security and good health, thankfulness, well-being, and
devotion to duty [taqwa]. Instill patience and honesty in me and in your saintly friends
[awliya']. Let ease [yusr] be Your gift to me, and do not let it come with difficulty ['usr]
attached. Extend these same blessings to my wife and children, to my brothers in You,
and to all those Muslim men [Muslimin] and Muslim women [Muslimat], those believing
men [mu'minin] and believing women [mu'minat], who have helped me to become the
man I am today."

NAFL FIRST NIGHT OF RAJAB

Fast -1st day of Rajab have Ghusl- bath for cleansing all sins - pray 10 rakat nafil
namaz in 2 rakat salam. In each rakat after Alhamdo pray Surah Kaferoon 3 times and
Surah Ikhlas (kulhuwalla) 3 times. After completing the namaz - Recite: La ilaha illallahu
Wahdahu la sharikalah, lahul mulku, walahul hamdu, yuhyi wa yumitu, wa Huwa hayyun
la yamoot, bi ya dihil khairu, wa Huwa ala kulli shainin Qadeeer. Allahumma laa
maania lima ataita, wa laa mutiya lima manata, wa laa, yanfau zhaljaddi, minkali
jadd.

Salah of Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani qs:

It is a 4 rakaat prayer, done at one go with one salam at the end, that is done, so that the
reward of it is donated to all people whom you have harmed and sinned against, so that
Allah will use the reward to satisfy their claims on the Day of Resurrection, if He so
wills.

It is done as follows:
1st rakaat : Surah al-Fatihah, followed by Surah al-Ikhlas (Qul hu Allau ahad) 11 times

2nd rakaat : Surah al-Fatihah, followed by Surah al-Ikhlas (Qul hu Allau ahad) 10
times, and Surah al-Kafiroon, 3 times

3rd rakaat : Surah al-Fatihah, followed by Surah al-Ikhlas (Qul hu Allau ahad) 10
times, and Surah al-Takathur (Alha kumu takathur), 1 time. Surah al-Takathur is Surah
number 102.

4th rakaat : Surah al-Fatihah, followed by Surah al-Ikhlas (Qul hu Allau ahad) 15
times, and Ayatul Kusi 1 time.

Then donate the spiritual reward of the performance of this prayer, to all those enemies
who will have a claim against you on Judgement Day.

On the first night after Mughrib Salaah, read 20 rakaats in two rakaat units. In each
rakaat after Surah Fateha read Surah Ikhlaas. After Esha read two rakaats nafil,
reading in the first rakaat after Surah Fateha Surah Alam Nashrah and then Surah
Ikhlaas 3 times. In the second rakaat after Surah Fateha read each of these Surahs
once, Surah Alam Nashrah, Surah Ikhlaas, Surah Falaq and Surah Naas once. After
completion of salaam, one should read La Illaaha Illalah 30 times, and read durood
shareef 30 times, and then humbly present your request to Allah, Insha Allah it will be
granted.

100 rakat Salat al Khair - 100 rakat - 1 fatiha 10 ikhlas each rakat.

RAGHAIB WORSHIP

First Thursday of Rejab

It is very important to fast on this day, as the Angels gather at the Kaaba to seek
forgiveness for those fasting. After breaking fast on Thursday, there is a 12 rakaat sunnat,
done in 6 sets of 2 rakaat, to be done.

In every Rakat after reciting Surah al-Fatihah, recite 3 times Surah al-Qadr & 12
times Surah al-Ikhlaas.

After salam recite 70 times:

Allahumma salli ala Muhammadinin Nabiyyil Ummiyi wa ala aalihi wa sallim. (O

Allah send blessings on Muhammad, the Ummi Prophet, and on his family.)

Then sujud & recite 70 times:

Subbuhun quddoosun rabbul malaaikati war-Ruh. (All Glorious and All Holy is the
Lord of the Angels and Spirits.)
Then sit erect & recite 70 times:

Rabbighfir war-ham watajaawaz amma talam, fa innaka antal azizul A zam. (O

Lord! Forgive, have mercy and pardon about that which Thou knows well, verily
Thou art Mighty, the Supreme.)

Then sujud again & recite 70 times:

Subbuhun quddoosun rabbul malaaikati war-Ruh. (All Glorious and All Holy is the
Lord of the Angels and Spirits.)

Finally, while still in sujud, he should ask Allah to grant his personal request, for
that request will surely be fulfilled.

Prophet (saw) said, By Him in whose Hand is my soul, I assure you that no servant (of
His), whether a manservant or maidservant, will ever perform this particular solat,
without Allah forgiving all the sins of which that individual has been guilty, even if they
are like the flecks of foam upon the ocean, as numerous as all the grains of sand, as
heavy as the mountains, and as many as the drops of rain and the leaves on all the trees.
On the Day of Resurrection, he will be allowed to give shafaah (intercede), on behalf of
700 members of his family.

100 rakat Salat al Khair - 100 rakat - 1 fatiha 10 ikhlas each rakat.

On first Friday of the month offer 4 rakat Nafl between Jumah and Asr each rakah
1 Fatiha 7 ayatul Kursi, Ikhlas 5 times. After salams say:

25x times - Laa hawla wa laa quwwata illaa billaahil-kabiiril muta'aal

then

100x times - astaghfirullaahal lazii laa ilaaha illaa huwail hayyul qayyuumu Ghaffaaruz
zunuubi wa sattaarul uyuubi wa atuubi ilayhi

then

100x - salawat sharifa - Allahuma sali ala Mohamedin wa ala alihi Mohamdin wa salam

15th Rajab WORSHIP:

Fast -15th day of Rajab Ghusl- bath -for cleansing all sins- pray 10 rakah like 1st and
with Dua : Recite: La ilaha illallahu Wahdahu la sharikalah, lahul mulku, walahul
hamdu, yuhyi wa yumitu, wa Huwa hayyun la yamoot, bi ya dihil khairu, wa Huwa ala
kulli shainin Qadeeer. Ilahan, Waahidan, Ahadan, Samadan, Fardan, Witraa. Laa
yattakhidhu sohibatan wa laa waladaa.

This night is also known as the night of Istiftaah. There are numerous Salaah and
Duas to be read on this night. There also numerous benefits in it. On the 15th day of
Rajab which is known as the Day of Istiftaah, one should fast and recite 50 rakaats of
Salaah at Ishraaq in units of twos. In each rakaat after Surah Fateha recite Surah
Ikhlaas, Surah Falaq and Surah Naas.

Our Nabi S.A.W. has stated that anyone who performs this Salaah will be like one
who has just been born, and on the day of Qiyaamah one will be given the status of a
Shaheed. One will be given the sawaab of three months of fasting, Rajab, Shabaan and
Ramadaan and one will be given the sawaab of Haj and Umra equivalent to the number
of hairs on ones body. Also the reciter will not experience the darkness and narrowness
of the grave. On the day of Ressurection, when one will awaken from the grave, with
one will be a light/Noor, 70000 angels will give one the glad tidings of Paradise, until
the ones death, one will experience the signs of the coming of the angels and after ones
death Sayedina Jibraeel A.S will pay a daily visit to ones grave. After the trumpet is
blown, Sayedina Jibraeel A.S. will give one to drink from the Aabe Kauthar and he will
escourt one personally before Allah Who will then ask His servant what His Servant
Desires. A thousand requisites of one will be granted by Allah, one will be granted the
Shafath of a 1000 men, and one will enter paradise with the Prophets and the Martyrs.

Sayedina Akramah R.A. has stated that whosoever read the following Dua on the Day
of Istiftaah, Allah Ta-Ala will open 70 Doors of Rahmah and Mercy for Him.

"Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem, Ya Musabibal Asbaab, Ya Mufattihal Abwaab, Ya

Muqalibal Quloobi Wal Absaar, Ya Da-imas Shani, Ya
Mukhrijan Nabaati, Allahumaf Tah Alayya Abwaaba Fadhlika Bi Rahmatika Ya
Arhamar Raahimeen."

27th Night Meraj WORSHIP

FAST on 27th day

Salat Al Khair - 100 rakat

On this night one should read 6 rakaats of Salaah with 3 salaams. In each rakaat after
Surah Fateha, one should read 7 times Surah Ikhlaas. After performing this Salaah one
should request ones needs of Allah Ta-Ala.
Hazrat Nizaamudeen R.A has stated that one can read 4 rakaats of Salaah on this night,
and on its completion, one can ask Allah for long life and also for protection from
poverty and starvation.

After zuhur, he would pray a 4 rakaat Sunnat prayer. In each rakaat, he would recite
Surah Fatihah once, Surah Al Falaq and An-nas once each, Surah Al-Qadr 3 times, and
Surah Ikhlas 50 times. He would then doa until asar.
This, said the Sahabah, is exactly what Rasulullah (saw) always did on this
particular day.

Last Day of Rajab

Fast -30th day of Rajab Ghusl- bath -for cleansing all sins - Pray 10 rakah like 1st day t
with Dua - Last day of Rajab: Recite: La ilaha illallahu Wahdahu la sharikalah, lahul
mulku, walahul hamdu, yuhyi wa yumitu, wa Huwa hayyun la yamoot, bi ya dihil khairu,
wa Huwa ala kulli shainin Qadeeer.wa Sallahu ala Sayyidina Muhammadin wa ala
alihith-thohireen, laa hawla wa laa quwwata illa billahil aliyyil adzheem.
