How To Maintain Discipline In A Classroom?

Host: Assalamualaikum and a very good afternoon everyone. Do you have a nice day today?
Nowadays, people recently have been very concerned about how to Maintaining Discipline
among the students itselfs. I'm Nur Syahirah binti Ahmad Nazir and you're watching
Neverlands show. So, Today we'll be talking about How to Maintain Discipline in a
Classroom.

To better understand these events, we'll talk with students from several school , who is
Nurhidayu Binti Hamran from (state ur school here), Muhammad Suhairy Bin Suhaimy from
(state ur school here), Mohamad Asnizam Bin Ramdai from (state ur school here), and Siah
Hui Yi from (state ur school here).

Firstly first, we're going to start with, why is classroom management important? Mohamad
Asnizam, can you tell us why it is important?

Mohamad Asnizam Bin Ramdai: It engages students. Students who are engaged in lessons
and the learning material will be able to register the information better and be able to apply
their knowledge when it comes to test taking.

Host: Anyone has any different idea why is classroom management important?

Muhammad Suhairy Bin Suhaimy: Yes, it is very important because it keeps students
prepared When teachers and students are prepared to learn, lessons and learning will be easier
to be administered and the results will be more effective.

Host: The next question is How to Manage a Classroom Effectively? Nurhidayu can you tell
us?

Nurhidayu Binti Hamran: To manage a classroom effectively, we must have rules. These
regulations will help maintain classroom management and discipline. For example, making
sure that all students adhere to timely attendance and making sure that everyone knows the
impact of late submit assignments.

Host: Lets hear from your view Siah Hui Yi

Siah Hui Yi: From my view, we should Have an expectations. If your students know what
you want from them, they are more likely to exhibit the type of behaviour you want. Start out
the day with explaining what you expect from your students and how they are expected to
behave. Be detailed and positive.

Host: Good point Siah Hui Yi. What about you Mohamad Asnizam?

Mohamad Asnizam Bin Ramdai: What can I say here, deal with troublemakers. No matter
how great your plan or classroom management techniques are, there are always going to be
students that want to disrupt your class or not follow rules. Speak with these students early
on and discuss plans of action with higher authority.

Host: Now, anybody from you can explain some classroom management techniques that are
going to make the overall process much easier for us?

Muhammad Suhairy Bin Suhaimy: Keep the class interested. Students who are interested
in the material that what is going on in the class will be less likely to cause any disruption, as
their attention will be focused on their lesson.

Nurhidayu Binti Hamran: Practice humour. Creating a positive environment where there is
laughter and happiness is key into keep students interested and engaged in their work, and
more likely to comply with any rules.
Host: So, what is the responsibility of a student in class?

Siah Hui Yi: Come to class on time and ready to learn. Don't be a minute late and bring
everything you need for the day; the right note-taking materials, your homework, a lunch. Be
organized with them. Respect the teacher. Even if the things you're learning aren't exactly
interesting, pretend they are.

Mohamad Asnizam Bin Ramdai: Student should behave in class. Don't fool around with
other classmates or with an object. Pay attention to the board and listen closely to the teacher.
If another student starts talking to you, quietly tell them to be quiet and listen. If they still
don't stop, just ignore them.

Host: The last question is classroom teaching and learning equipment important in managing

disciplineMuhammad Suhairy, what do you think?

Muhammad Suhairy Bin Suhaimy: Microphone is important to control the attention of

students because some teachersvoice is too soft.

Host: Anyone else?

Nurhidayu Binti Hamran: Playing video during teaching can attract students attention.

Host: So, what can be conclude here, Maintaining the Discipline in a Classroom is very
important because from the discipline we can form a bright future when facing the reality of
