Before start the lesson, we will do the daily routine by singing, welcoming, and listening to the Quran.
First, I will illustrate some basic classroom rules for the children to help reinforce the good behavior
in the class by showing the reward system, and the classroom rules. then, I will engage them in the
lesson by using a different tool this time, which a software to show electronic story with animations
and sounds. This story will focus about animals legs in the farm. I will experience the electronic
story to see the children reaction and the engaging extent to it.
The story is about a small farmer who went to see the animals on the farm and noticed that animals
have different numbers of legs. While noticing each animal, he will ask about the animals name and
sound. Through that the children will listen to the animals sounds. The story will focus on the
animals legs, ask the children to count the animals legs and identify if it is four or two. Next, there
will be a short review to check childrens understanding. I will set in the floor, bring file inside it the
paper plates animals without legs (the legs will be fold). I will ask the children about the animals
name and number of his legs. After this review, will move to the activities in the tables.
Note: I will attempt to use a transition to move to the groups. I will try to make train, lead the children
to the groups.
To examine childrens mental ability, children will sort farm animals by putting the animal in the
correct basket.
Note: to avoid children fighting or mixing the animals cards, each child will have the cards in
different color.
For the second activity, children will have animals pictures without legs and some paint on the plate.
Children will put one finger on the paint to make the animals legs.
For the third activity, children will make an animal puppet by gluing the animals parts. Children will
put there fingers in the holes and I will ask them how many legs do their animals have? After that
children my start role playing with the animals puppets and asking each other about the numbers of
the legs their animals have.
