INSTRUCTIONS
The Quick Installation Guide will help you to install CD-R KING Wireless-N USB Adapter into your
computer, including the basic hardware and Software installation, as well as the configuration of wireless network
availability.
Connecting Wireless-N USB Network Adapter on Computer:

Connect the wireless-N USB Network Adapter into the USB port of the computer.

Software Installation using Windows 7:
1. Insert the USB wireless network adapter into an empty USB 2.0 port of your computer when it is power
on. Never use force to insert the card, if you feel it's stuck, flip the card over and try again.
2. Insert the device driver CD into the CD-ROM drive of your computer, double click the Setup.exe icon
and then run the Setup.exe program.
3. Select I accept the terms of the license agreement and then click Next.

4. Select the setup type that best suits your needs. Install the driver, Ralink WLAN Utility is
recommended.
5. Click Next, it will show the Select Configuration Tool dialogue; you can manage this wireless adapter
both by Ralink Configuration Tool and Microsoft Zero Configuration Tool.
6. Click Next and it will show a ready to install dialogue.

7. Click Install and the installation process will begin.

8. Finally, click Finish button to finish the driver installation.

Connecting Using Wireless-N USB Network Adapter:
1. After the installation process has finished, it will try to connect to any unencrypted wireless access point
automatically. If you want to connect to a specific wireless access point or to the access point you wish to
connect using an encryption, you have to configure the wireless network card and input the correct
password to get connected to the wireless access point.
2. Double click to open the desktop lower icon.

4. Click the scan icon, to show the available wireless access point. The scan results will display in the
Network zone. If you can't find the access point you wish to connect here, just click the Refresh
button until you can find your wireless access point.

5. Choose the wireless access point SSID and double-click it. If the AP is encrypted, you should follow the
prompts to select the appropriate encryption type and enter a password.
6. After you have successfully connected to the wireless access point, you can get the detail information of
the connected access point such as IP address, speed and so on. Click the icon then to see the
signal quality and signal strength information.
7. On the General window, you will see the Signal Strength and Link Quality which means you are
connected to a network.

Connecting to a Wireless Network through Window:
1. On the system status bar, please click wireless signal icon.
2. Then the pop-up balloon will appear; please select a network you prepare to connect then click connect.
3. Enter the Network Security Key on the next balloon.
4. You will see in the network list when you are already connected, or if you see that the network signal has
no X on it, that only means you are connected.
