Assalamualaikum Wr.Wb.
Good Morning all...
Firstly, let us thanks and praises be to Allah SWT the Almighty, who has given us
mercy and blessing, so we can gather here in good condition. And then peace/shalawat and
salutation are always delivered to our great prophet Muhammad SAW, who has guided us
from the darkness to brightness, and led us to the truth.
Secondly, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the honorable english
teacher Mrs. Tintin and also the unforgatable my beloved friends for giving me an
oppourtunity to deliver my speech entitled The Dangerous of Smoking.
The honorable english teacher Mrs.Tintin and my beloved friends...
As we have already known smoking is one part of daily activities of Indonesian
communities. There are approximately 57 million smokers in Indonesia. Instead of that
Indonesia is the fifth largest tobacco market in the world, and also the Wolrd Health
Organization ( WHO ) has ranked Indonesia thrid in the world for total number of smokers.
Therefore, we as the young generation must be convinced that smoking is danger for our
health. Why is it danger ? because smoking causes many diseases such as cancer, heart
attacks and even more death.
Guys...
Do you know about cigarette smoke ? Cigarette smoke contains more 4000 harmful
chemicals and toxical. More than 70 of them are have been shown to cause cancer in lab
test. Some of the harmful chemical and toxical in cigarette smoke are Nicotine ( Nicotine is
addictive, it causes a smoker addicted to smoke over and over again. ), Tar ( Tar causes
cancer of the lungs, mouth, and throat. ), Carbon monoxide ( Carbon monoxide cause blocks
oxygen within blood and etc). Therefore it would be much better for the people not to smoke
in order that we could lives healthly.
My beloved friends...
Instead of that, the goverment should make regulation about smoking policy. And
also the goverment should decrease the amount of smokers in Indonesia. The way how to
do it is that by doing a good socialization toward communities, for example by giving the
guidance about dangerous effect of smoking. So, they could know and realize about the bad
effect of smoking. Hopely, they could be able to stop smoking. And also remember guys,
smoking is not positive activity for human life, especially we as the young generation.
Therefore from now, let us say Go studying and Stop smoking.

 Finally thats all about my simple speech about the dangerous of smoking. Because
time is very limited, I cant speak any longer. I hope my speech will be useful for us, and
also I wish all of smokers in Indonesian could be able to change their lifestyle to a better
and heatly life. Aamiin..
