Unit Summary:

This unit will begin with a lecture on the elements of Gothic literature and an introduction to Frankenstein. Students will also be completing a webercise
activity and graphic organizers. The main literary elements from the novel that we will be discussing are major themes, the importance of setting, and
characterization of Victor Frankenstein and his creation. The unit will consist of class discussions, an in class debate, various writing activities, and a quiz.
The final activities will consist of group presentations and a final written essay.
