Project Scope funded at $4.5 for interior spatial re-configuration, new Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing systems, new windows,
reconfigured front entrance, roof replacement, new furniture, finishes & equipment. New $2.7M FY 18 funding will be spent on exterior
renovation including the modular interim library being planned to go on the grounds of JC Nalle during the exterior renovation phase.

Project Description/Status:
Demolition and construction of a new library on the same site. Foundations and Structural steel have been completed. The enclosure of
the building is being constructed now, both brick and limestone. Permanent power is scheduled for early December, with the building dry in
slated for late December. The Air Handling Units with conditioned air is scheduled for early January, and the elevator by mid January. From
January to March, completing interior finishes will be the major activities.

Project Description/Status:
MLK construction is well underway with much of the interior demolition and historic material salvage completed. The building is also wrapping up its
clearance of all hazardous materials as part of the demolition and has commenced the structural demolition to make way for the buildings newly designed
elements. Elements of the demolition will be ongoing until early 2018 and will be followed by the start of the mechanical and electrical system installation.
The project has also started the exterior building envelope remediation consisting of the removal of all glass, portions of the roof, and metal framing.
Scaffolding and tenting has been erected along the G Place elevation and is now starting on the 9th Street elevation to make way for the exterior structure

Major renovation project that includes green roof, and upgrade to mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems. Project includes upgraded
furniture, fixtures and equipment. The faade has been modified to introduce more natural light and the floor plan provides more open flow of

Project Description/Status:
Project is funded in FY2017 for a new LEED certified branch library. Design started in July 2017 with Perkins+ Will & Turner Construction. Two
community meetings held in July and September culminated in a successful concept design. The library is proposed to be all above ground
and is gearing up to go through the approval process of ANC, Zoning, and Commission of Fine Arts.

The West End Library is part of a mixed-use project built by EastBanc real estate development company that features a 20,000 square foot library. All
public functions are at entry level, and staff spaces on the mezzanine level. Project is substantially complete and close-out phase including warranty
