BP is an equal opportunities employer which strives to follow fair and transparent recruitment processes. For example, BP will not give preference to particular candidates for employment as a means of influencing anyone in the private or public sectors, including government officials, to make decisions favourable to BP. In order to gather necessary background information as part of our recruitment process, BP has introduced the practice of asking the following questions of all candidates for employment. The availability of this information will contribute to the transparency of the recruitment process and ensure that employees are not placed in positions where they may have substantial conflicts of interest or which may give rise to the appearance of impropriety.
