The canary. It's the most representative bird from the Canary
Islands.

They symbolise children's excitement at Christmas time and


they are part of the cultural tradition of our islands.

Year 3 A

Common Christmas shapes decorated with "Pintaderas", a


form of stamp used by the pre-Hispanic natives of the Canary
Islands.

Materials:

They represent the Spanish flag with the seven Canary Islands
on one side, and the Canarian and European flags on the
other.

Year 4 A

A form of stamp from natives of the Canary Islands,


commonly made with clay. They were usually decorated with
geometric shapes: circles, triangles, squares...

Canary Lateen Sailing is a traditional sport in the Canary


Islands.
