AMORTIGUADORES DE PULSACIONES
Generalidades
Cuando por determinadas condiciones de servicio o instalacin
de las bombas alternativas se produzcan, eventualmente,
pulsaciones de presin inadmisibles, es aconsejable el uso de
amortiguadores de pulsaciones en la succin, en la impulsin, o
en ambos lados.
Del tipo a vejiga precargada con nitrgeno, tienen como objetivo
lograr un llenado ptimo de la bomba (succin) y atemperar las
pulsaciones de salida (impulsin).
Debido a la calidad de fabricacin de dichas vejigas, los
amortiguadores poseen una prolongada vida til as como una
alta eficiencia operativa.
Seleccin
Seleccionar el amortiguador adecuado de los grficos
precedentes, segn el tipo de bomba, la carrera y el dimetro
del pistn.
Si la seleccin cae en la lnea divisoria entre modelos,
seleccione siempre el amortiguador ms grande.
Caractersticas constructivas
Integrado por una carcasa de acero de forma cilndrica, con un
extremo bridado para rnontaje en la tubera, que contiene una
vejiga elstica roscada en el otro extremo.
En el espacio anular entre ambas piezas se produce el
intercambio energtico entre el lquido y la vejiga elstica.
Carcasa
En tubo de acero sin costura de alta resistencia y revestido
interiormente con pintura de resina epoxi anticorrosiva.
Vejiga
De goma tipo Buna N, reforzada con tela de nylon, vulcanizada
y perfectamente zunchada a los extremos metlicos.
Prestaciones
Apto para agua dulce o salada, petrleo crudo hidratado o no y
sus derivados a temperaturas entre 20C y 120C.
PULSATION DAMPENERS
General
The use of pulsation dampeners is recommended when due to
particular service or installation conditions, harmful pressure
pulsation appear. They may be installed in the suction or
discharge line or in both places.
The dampeners are of the nitrogen cartridge type, improving the
feeding of the pump (suction) and reducing the discharge
pressure pulsation (discharge). Due to the manufacture quality of
the cartridge, an extended durability and high performance are
assured.
Selection
Select the adequate dampeners of the previous figures,
considering pump type, stroke and bore.
If the selection fall on the line between models, select always the
larger dampener.
Technical details
The dampener consists of a steel cylindrical housing, with a
flanged end used to connect the dampener to the piping. Inside
the housing there is an elastic cartridge filled with nitrogen
threaded to the other end.
The annular space between both parts allows an exchange of
energy between the fluid and the elastic cartridge.
Housing
It is made of a high resistance steel seamless tube finished with
an inner coating of epoxy resin for rust prevention.
Cartridge
It is made of special oil resisting rubber reinforced with adequate
fabric, vulcanized and perfectly joined to the metallic ends.
Uses
The pulsation dampener is suitable for either fresh or salt water,
hydrated or non-hydrated crude oil and its by-products, at
temperatures between 4F to 248F.
