Lesson Schedule
Targeted teacher language:
The numbers from 0-100.
Student language:
The numbers from 0-100.
The student teacher will demonstrate the book on the board using data show. She will ask
the students to open page 42 in the math book. Their books will be there already for them
and they will sit in their groups as usual which depends on their level. The student teacher
will write the answers on the board after she discusses it with students. For instance, she will
ask the students on page 42 " How many spiders do you see here?" and they will respond 4
spiders after that, she will ask the students about the number symbol and the written word of
it using number cards (small and big). For example, she will ask the students to identify
which is four and she represent two big cards like four and 9. She will call the student who
will answer to choose what the correct number is. Then she will put it on the board using
magnets and she will ask them to write it in their books. Also, she will do the same for the
written words of the numbers. And she will ask them some questions to get their attention
such as "what do see here?" Or "what is the color of this butterfly?". She will finish answering
the questions with students on pages 42 -45.
The student teacher will assess each group using some cutted papers which like ice cream between 0- 100
depends on their group. The ice cream papers include on the top of ice cream the written words and the
button part has the number (symbol). They should match the number with the word and make the ice
cream shape. They will work as group in order to assess them about the written numbers in words. For
example, 45 card will be down "Forty five" ice cream shape.
At the end she will ask them to do their homework which is on page 13 in Homework Book.
