cannot provide in terms of learning experience. Presented by SYLVIA T. NIWANNE Teacher III, MARIA

YES O Camp is every years culmination of the activities of all subject areas. It is a venue
for the school and the students to develop maturity towards deeper awareness and concern on
the state of the environment today. In this activity, students are encouraged to join different
contested activities which will promote camaraderie, higher thinking skills which widen their
horizon and develop their talents and environmental values which will help in concretizing the
action in protecting, and rehabilitating the environment.
The yearly conduct of this activity pose a great challenge to the proponents to conduct in
her own school due to its great preparations yet this will not only prepare the students
participants in the division level but also to give chance to students who could not afford/avail to
join the division YES O Camp.
VIII. YES-O Camp OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the activity, participants are expected to:
A. Inculcate among pupils, students and teachers the importance and relevance of
reducing the carbon footprints as a double and a practical way to mitigate and adapt
to the changing world.
B. Develop pupils and students deeper awareness on the state of the environment,
focusing on significant issues and concerns on Climate Change and Global Warming.
C. Encourage students active participation and determine concrete action in the
protection, preservation and rehabilitation of the environment.
D. Prepare YES-O participants for the coming Division YES O Camp
E. Raise fund for the operation of the club to support its upcoming projects and
sustainability.
