List of Coordinators for Session 2016-17

1. From Academic Session 2015-16 onwards, coordinators have been appointed only at School level except for few Schools where unrelated departments are placed under the same School. In these Schools Coordinators related to academics had
been appointed at the Department level.
2. Depending upon student strength, Schools have been categorized in three types A,B and C as follows:
(A) Schools having student strength greater than 2000 will be referred to as A School.
(B) Schools having student strength greater than 400 and less than 2000 will be referred to as B school.
(C) Schools having student strength less than equal to 400 or schools having unrelated departments placed under it, will be referred to as C School e.g. School of Arts and languages, School of Polytech etc.
3. The roles and responsibilities of coordinators along with members and the load relaxations are mentioned below.
4. All the HOSs are requested to give recommendations of only those coordinators to HR that are relevant in their Schools. In case HOS does not want to appoint a coordinator, approval of the same shall be sought from Office of Chancellor/Pro-
Chancellor through HR.

Please Note: If any coordinator is given additional responsibility of any other coordinator, then he/she will ha ve the highest load relaxation amongst the two coordinators with additional load relaxation for two hours per week. This would also be
applicable to HOD/COD shouldering additional responsibility of a coordinator.
