As the church seasons change, you will notice a change to the Prayer Tree as well. With the
beginning of Advent, all the leaves will be removed from the tree to make room for your
continuing prayers. The leaves will be blue and white during the Advent, Christmas and
Epiphany seasons. As that church season moves to Lent, Holy Week and Easter, purple
leaves will be available. At Pentecost, leaves will return to green. Each season as the leaves
are removed, they will be held in the Prayer Room until Easter Vigil, when they will be
burned.

The Salvation
Army, along with
their usual Toy &
Food Drive this
Christmas Season
is again collecting
new pajamas. Our
greatest need is children sizes 6-14 and
all adult sizes, for men and women.
Please consider making a monetary
donation or buying a new pair of pajamas
so that all of Norfolks children can sleep
in warmth. Checks can be made payable
to Norfolk Salvation Army Pajama Project
and can be dropped off at Salvation Army
or WJAG radio station. Deadline is
