Perimeter Medical Imaging Appoints Dr.

Franklyn Prendergast to Board of

Directors

Toronto, Canada, November 16, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Perimeter Medical Imaging Inc., a developer of real
time imaging systems for in-surgery tissue assessment, is pleased to announce that Dr. Franklyn
Prendergast, will be joining Perimeter's Board of Directors. Dr. Prendergast spent his entire professional
career at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He retired from Mayo in December of 2014.

At Mayo, Dr. Prendergast held sundry scientific and administrative positions. He is the emeritus Director
of the Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center and of the Mayo Clinic Center for Individualized
Medicine; Emeritus Chair of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Emeritus member
of the Mayo Clinic Board of Governors and Board of Trustees and also was a member of the Mayo
Foundation Executive Committee. His last academic appointment was as the Edmond and Marion
Guggenheim Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Professor of Molecular
Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics. Currently Dr. Prendergast serves on the Board of
Directors for the Infectious Disease Research Institute, Cancer Genetics Inc., Medibio, Cyclica and is a
member of the Advisory Committee for the Biden Cancer Initiative.

Dr. Prendergast recently retired after 22 years as a member of the Board of Directors of Eli Lilly and Co.
He has also worked extensively with the National Institutes of Health in a variety of capacities including
Board of Advisors for the Division of Research Grants, Scientific Advisory Board of the National Cancer
Institute, the National Cancer Advisory Board and National Advisory General Medical Sciences Council.
His roles at the National Institutes of Health have been advisory and extensively as a reviewer on
enumerable number of grant review committees.

Dr. Prendergast will be actively involved as a member of Perimeter's Board of Directors and Clinical
Board of Advisors, acting as a conduit between these boards. The combination of his extensive medical
and business background and relationships will be invaluable to Perimeter. He will support Perimeter's
ongoing clinical engagement, validation of market entry strategy and fundraising efforts.

Dr. Prendergast will be joining Perimeter's advisors, Dr. Ted James, Chief of Breast Surgery at Beth
Israel, Harvard Medical School, and Brian Wilson, PhD, Senior Scientist, Princess Margaret Cancer
Centre, Head of Medical Imaging and Biophysics - OCI, and Core Lead, Techna Institute for the
Advancement of Technology for Health (Techna) at UHN, who is a world renown expert in optical
imaging in oncology. In addition, Perimeter is actively engaged with MD Anderson, Memorial Sloan
Kettering and now Mayo Clinic - the top 3 cancer research centers in the US, and Princess Margaret
Cancer Centre, recognized as one of the top 5 cancer research centres in the world.
