Lesson - Unit: A Green Green Garden Unit : Growing in the Garden Student Teacher Fatima Obaid Saif

Prior Knowledge (What knowledge are you building on?)

Students have knowledge about gardening, fruits, vegetables, planting and what the plants need to grow.
Lesson Activities: (What will students do in the lesson?)

Activities:
Activity 1: Puzzle: There will be a puzzle and flashcards with some words from the story, the students will do the puzzle then
they will choose the word flashcard that fits the puzzle.

Activity 2: Worksheet: In the worksheet there will be two part the first one will have the different parts of the plant, students
will organize the parts then in the second part they will have different pictures they will cut and stick the pictures that
represent the needs of the plants beside the plant parts.

Lesson Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students will be (better) able to:

Identify plants parts


Recognize the needs of the plants
Identify the steps of planting
