You are invited to join the Special Rapporteur to discuss the systematic causes and
manifestations of poverty in Puerto Rico and related human rights issues, including
but not limited to: the longer-term structural causes of poverty on the island, the
impact of the debt crisis and austerity measures as well as the impact of the recent
hurricanes and hurricane relief efforts. This may include issues related to the right to
health, to education, to social protection and to work.
