Problem Information
OPC connection (DA and HDA)
*Summary:
HI Emerson,
*Description:
i have question regarding the OPC DA and HDA connection to 3rd party, i have setting up all privilege user
to R/W to get Archive (HDA) on table raw9001 (get from nw3000realanalog).
but some how the matrikon OPC DA or HDA cannot get the progID emerson.OEOPCDAServer1 or Iconics.
on this ticket i have attached backup database, result from matrikon Analyzer and Order Acknowledgement
screenshoot for your refference.

Attach file #1: Cogent OPC.png
If you are using a 3rd party OPC client you will also need to manually add the proper OPC tags to the 3rd
party client. The OE server cannot be browsed.
If the OE server and 3rd party OPC client are on the same computer. The OPC tag format added to the client
would be as shown in the example (realanalog signal) below. Tew:R1.DP_INP would be replaced with the
signal name that you require from the OE database.
"rtrdb1"."realanalog"."name:varchar:Tew:R1.DP_INP"."value:float"
If the 3rd party OPC client exists on a different computer then DCOM settings must be configured.

If you are using the Cogent OPC Tunnel then DCOM should not be an issue.
As I said before in the client you will need to manually add the OE OPC tag.
"Servername:rtrdb1"."realanalog"."name:varchar:Tew:R1.DP_INP"."value:float"
I am not familiar with the Cogent configuration but this is normally the information required for client pulling
data from an OE OPCDA Server .
Emerson.OEOPCDAServer\"Servername:rtrdb1"."realanalog"."name:varchar:Tew:R1.DP_INP"."value:float"
so, how we can access data from OE distinguished historian's already installed? whether to renew a license
or what?
our customer needed to get data monthly and hourly from OE Archive.
Is it possible the customer can use a Report or an sql query to create an output file that runs monthly for the
monthly data?
the report only for administration data local, they are want OE integrate to system they are (another place)
via OPC for Remote monitoring.
any advice ?
