2. SHLD-CASE, BOTTOM
1) Remove the four screws (S-SCREW, DUMP) and remove the SHLD-CASE, BOTTOM.

3. MD C.B
1) Remove the eight WIRES from the mechanism chassis by a soldering iron.
2) Remove the two screws, the SCREW A (VT2+2-6) and the SCREW B (S-SCREW, VTT2-15).
3) Disengage the detent C in the three locations and lift up the MD C. B.
4) Short-circuit the SHORT LAND of the pick-up. (Fig. 3-2)
5) Disconnect the FFC of the pick-up and remove the MD C. B. (Fig. 3-2)

4. BOX-CTRG, ASSY
1) Remove the LEVER, SW-LOAD. (Fig. 4-1)
2) Disengage the two hooks (BOX-CTRG, ASSY side) of the SPR-E, BOX. (Fig. 4-2 a, Fig. 4-2 b)
3) Disengage the three detents (circled in Fig. 4-3) of the CHAS ASSY and remove the BOX-CTRG, ASSY.

6. SLIDER, MAIN
1) Disengage the detent (circled in Fig. 6-1) of the CHAS, ASSY.
2) Slide the SLIDER, MAIN in the direction of the arrow A as shown in Fig. 6-2.
3) Remove the SLIDER, MAIN upward.

7. PICK UP ASSY
1) Pull out the SHAFT, GUIDE in the direction of the arrow
A.
2) Remove the PICK UP ASSY.

8. GEAR CAM
1) Remove the screw (S-SCREW, SPH) and remove the GEAR, RACK PINION. (Fig. 8-1)

2) Slide the SLIDER, RACK in the direction of the arrow A while pressing the detent (circled in Fig. 8-3) and remove it.

3) Disengage the detent (Fig. 8-4) of the LEVER, SW-CAM and remove the LEVER, SW-CAM.

4) Disengage the detent (circled in Fig. 8-6) of the GEAR CAM from the rear side of the CHAS ASSY and remove the GEAR CAM.

Notes for assembling
1) Install the SLIDER, OWH and slide it in the direction of the arrow A until it stops. (Fig. 8-7)
2) Install the GEAR, CAM and rotate it in the direction of the arrow B (clockwise) until it stops. (Fig. 8-8)

3) Confirm the respective motor installation positions and the wiring referring Fig. 8-9.
