here with options.

Q.38 The selling price of 15 articles is equal to cost price of 12 articles. What
is the loss in the whole tansaction?

loss%= (12-15)*100/15 = 20% (In answer key it is given 25% which is wrong)

Q.40 A train of length 110m is moving with a speed of 72km/h and another train of
length 120m is moving with a speed of 36km/h in opposite directions along parallel
tracks. waht is the time taken in seconds to cross each other?

A. 20/3 B.11.2 C.23 D.24

1. If moving in opposite direction T= 23/3 (not availble in options)

2. If moving in same direction T= 23 (availble in options)

Q.41 The speed of boat in still water is 30km/h and speed of stream is 6km/h. What
is the time taken by the boat in minutes to cover a distance of 12 km?

A. 18 B.20 C.25 D.30

Soln.

1. If downstream 12km T= (12/36)*60= 20min (availble in options)

2. If upstream 12km T= (12/24)*60= 30min (availble in options)

3. If (upstream 6km + downstream 6km)= 12km

[(6/36) + (6/24)]*60 = 25min (availble in options)

u forgot to mention Q.10 and Q.115 ....Q.10 right answer is Navroz and Q.115 is 3
and not 2.
