OPC Data Link version 2.1 - Product Release

Executive Summary
The OPC Data Link version 2.1 is now released for sale and upgrades. The primary focus
of this release is support of Window Server 2008 SP2 (32 bit) and Windows Server 2008
R2 SP1 (64 bit). This release also includes maintenance corrections.

Description
OPC Data Link version 2.1 now supports Window Server 2008 SP2 (32 bit) and Windows
Server 2008 R2 SP1 (64 bit). Maintenance corrections have been applied as part or this
release. See product release notes 2PAA109088 for details.
Specific information regarding the installation of OPC Data Link version 2.1 can be found
in the Installation Manual 2PAA103651-210. Configuration and Operation Manual for this
version is document number 2PAA103652-210.
OPC Data Link version 2.0-1 will transition to classic and will remain available for new
installations and expansions. This version supports Windows Server 2003 SP2. Order
information will transition to the MOD 300 Software Products Classic price book

Note that product support and updates are available exclusively to customers who have a
valid Automation Sentinel agreement. This includes both the introductory 12 month
agreement which comes with all new system software purchases as well as Automation
Sentinel annual renewals.
