Adequate calcium-rich diet:


Calcium is lost daily through urine and sweat for that reason is important to maintain an
adequate consumption of this.

Children should take at least 800 milligrams of calcium per day, adults 1,000 milligrams of
calcium per day, and pregnant women 1200 milligrams of calcium.
