Cost of procurement of Macalloy suspender for:-

a) FOB 1 which was condemned is scrap cost as per purchase

voucher ENCLOSURE No. C 1 (Weight = 1405 + 2200) = 3605 kgs Rs. 30,51,788.00

b) FOB 2 which was condemned to scrap

Cost as per ENCLOSURE No. C 1 Rs. 18,79,479.00

(Weight 865 + 1435) = 1500 Kg

Total wt. FOB 1 + FOB 2 = 3605 + 1500 = 5105 Kg
Say 5000 Kg

Total cost suspenders FOB 1 + FOB 2 Rs. 49,31,267.00

Credit for scrap @ Rs. 100 per kg = 5105 x 100 = Rs. 5,10,500 Rs. 5,10,500.00
Claimable amount Rs. 44,20,767.00

However the claim is limited as per the value of the relevant item of BOQ of the contract, as under:-

Value as per item no. Rs. 25,00,000.00

Less value of installation not done for FOB No. 1 Rs. 1,00,000.00

TOTAL Rs. 24,00,000.00

Less value of scrap retained by P&R @ Rs. 25 per Kg =
5000 kg x 25 Rs. 1,25,000.00

Net Amount of claim Rs. 22,75,000.00
