 ABOUT LAADLI FOUNDATION & ITS PROJECTS

Laadli Foundation Trust, a National Award winning Non-profit

organization, was founded in 2010 by a Slum dweller Mr. DEVENDRA
KUMAR GUPTA. In a very short duration of time, Laadli has attained
immense prominence as a NGO in the vertical of women empowerment
and their health, as also rehabilitation of poor & uneducated girls &
women in slums. Laadli has been running all its project without any Govt.
Aid.

SASHAKT (Empower)
(Empowering Unprivileged Girls in Slums)
Helped more than 6000 Unprivileged Girls in Completing their
intermediate education
running a training institute where approx. 12000 unprivileged Girls
have been provided basic Computer and English training

KANYADAAN (Bestowing)
(Facilitation of Marriage ceremony & its expenses for unprivileged girls)
Organizing mass marriage ceremonies facilitating thousands of
unprivileged girls to get married and giving them all the basic items of
necessity for starting a new life.

SAHELI
(HIV cum Health Check-up & Sensitization Programme for Females in Slums)
Conducting blood tests including HIV to get the actual Data of
HIV +ve victims in Slum areas for effective HIV Policy implementation
Team of counselors working with both mothers and daughters,
the importance of bonding amongst each other to share all type
exploitation and abuses at initial stage .
Counseling about menstrual hygiene, precautions, unprotected sex &
other health issues

SWABHIMAAN (Self-Esteem)
(Complete Legal Assistance to Unprivileged Women for Justice)
Providing Free Legal Assistance to those who are unable to bear
legal expenses to fight for Justice through a team of renowned
lawyers serving voluntarily to help victims of rape, sexual
harassment, acid attacks and other Crimes Against Women
 Smt. Priyanka Singh Rawat MP, Lok Sabha & renowned
social activist. She has been rehabilitating & working for
welfare of lacs of unprivileged girls as National patron of
Laadli foundation trust.

She has been working as social activist from her college life and have successfully
completed hundreds of welfare camps for unprivileged girls in rural area for their
Education & Health.

Her hard works, dedication and commitment towards social welfare was
acknowledged by the BJP and she was made the BJP candidate in General Election of
2014 to contest from Barabanki LokSabha constituency in U.P.

Her recognition towards her social welfare works for people from lower social order
of society & Popularity among them given her massive support in her election and
she won the parliamentary election with a huge margin of 2.12 lacs votes by
defeating Sh. P.L. Punia the then Chairperson of National Scheduled Caste
Commission.

Her outstanding social contribution & dedication made her 4th youngest Member of
Parliament in 16th Lok Sabha.

She is well known for innovative social reforms though her social expertise and
achieved the recognition in Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi jis Government.

Mr. Devendra K. Gupta, a National Awardee, is the

founder and National President of Laadli
Foundation Trust. He has been working for the
upliftment of socially weaker sections since
childhood for the last 17 years.

Devendra is a grassroot level social activist & is conferred with National Award by the
Govt. of India. He has also been awarded with Honorary Doctorate for his outstanding
social work.

He is known for pioneering unique projects that have benefited thousands of young
girls in slums. He was born in a South Delhi slum & was left alone at the age of 2 by his
parents with his 3 days old infant sister. He started his social journey aged 14 by
resolving to secure safety & welfare of young boys & girls facing immense struggle
himself.

He has saved thousands of young girls from the clutches of sexual exploitation &
harassment by organizing unique mass wedding programs and rehabilitating them.

He has till now rehabilitated more than 12,000 unprivileged girls & women by Making
them seek respectable jobs and employment through free computer & English training.
He has also helped more than 6000 poor girls to complete their Intermediate
education.

Recently Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India nominated him for
the prestigious Padma Shri Award, the 4th highest civilian award of India, for his
selfless and outstanding work in the field of social issues and empowerment of the
underprivileged.
WHY RUN FOR LAADLI IS UNIQUE
HALF MARATHON ?

A Unique participation of 15000 unemployed boys of slums

with the support of Delhi Police to enroll them for Skill
Training & Employment under YUVA project of Delhi Police
& Skill India. (Approx. 100 boys from each police Station)

Most of these unemployed boys are generally engaged in

various criminal activities including eve teasing,
molestation & other crimes against women.

Their unique participation in YUVA & Run for Laadli can

help and motivate them to be good human beings and
most importantly they would learn to respect women and
their importance in society.

The participation of these boys will create awareness

among themselves to get such a rare career opportunity &
friendship with local police. It will boost their confidence to
change themselves and to become asset for their family &
society, rather than being liability.

The successful completion of this program may

benefit and bring high level positive changes in
society and reduction in the rate of crimes.

In this male dominating society, the participation

of people through community policing will help
to change the mindsets of the people,
consequently, creating safer, secure and better
environment for girls & women.
 What is Run For Ladli ?
A Half-Marathon named RUN for LAADLI:
An Initiative to spread awareness towards Gender
Equality & fighting Crimes Against Women.

Run for Laadli has a Unique feature wherein young

boys will participate with the support of Delhi Police
to take pledge to raise their voice for given against eve
teasing, molestation, domestic violence & other
Crimes Against Women .

An effort to create awareness among males and to

seek them in raising voice in favor of security for
females & Gender promoting Equality.

A motivational program through Live In Concert &

Award Ceremony by Celebrities, Cabinet Ministers,
Diplomats, MP, Sr. Govt. Officers & Other
Dignitaries.
What is Run For Ladli ?
To enable volunteers to start their social participation
by creating awareness about Gender Equality &
fighting Crimes Against Women.

To Engage the community to participate in a healthy

and fun event while spreading awareness about the
topics like Swatch Barath Mission, Namami Gange,
Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao, Skill India etc

Presence of media to reach to a large numbers of

supporters to educate them about the cause.

To create awareness about the alarming number of

girls and women suffering due to domestic violence &
sexual abuse etc.

Public figures to be included to make the event more

popular and interesting for the masses & also to
convey the message robustly.

Fund Raising for providing Vocational Training and

Education, as also, rehabilitating Poor Girls in slums
of Delhi.

Important Information for Sponsors

As Run for Laadli is a non profit event, hence the sponsorship amount will not
be used for any commercial gains of organizers & the same will be utilized for the
Execution of event and welfare of unprivileged girls through Ladli Foundation
Trust.

Sponsorship amount in form of Donation, CSR & Support only shall be eligible to
Certificate under 80 G of Income Tax Act.

Sponsorship amount by any sponsor under its Publicity, Promotion & Marketing
Heads will be liable for payment of additional GST as per Govt Norms.

If any dispute may arise relating to sponsorship agreement, the same shall be will
be subject to jurisdiction of Delhi only.
