Opening: Review Time: 15minutes

Remind the students the classroom rules.

Get the students background knowledge by ask questions and show them
Multiplication sign.
Tell them a story about adding then I will connect it with multiplication.

Activity 1
I will write equation on the board.
The students have to apply this
equation using cups and wood
sticks.
Activity 2
Each student will have a small
hand that had a picture and they
have to write the adding and
subtracting equation under the
picture. Example of a picture (two
groups of four hearts)
They will have two minutes to
write the answer.
The teacher will ask one student to
come to board and answer the
first equation.
Then I will chick if the students
answers right or wrong.

I will tell for the students a story Open page 189.

and model it on the board using Answer question (4,6,8)
pictures. Check the answer with me.
After that, I will ask them
question.
They have to fine the answer using
adding and multicasting
equations.
They will do the equations on a
small board.
Closing/ Conclusion: review Time: 5muintes
I will show the student cupcakes that had stars. For example (three cupcakes
and each one had two stars.)
The students will write on their small board the equations of adding and
mutilation.

This lesson worked very well the students were engaged, time management was perfect. The

- Rational strategy - Book they usually use it so
(book) they can dill with it.
- Objected - Object made them exciting
- Story to introduce and engaging also, its aim to
the lesson their age.

They like it a lot and I know
that because they were
engaged.
