A positive leukocyte esterase and nitrite test can be used to predict UTI and provide rapid results. a , To know association urinalysis and circumcision status among elementary school boys. Methods. We conduct cross sectional study on May 2016,at elementary school boys in Padang. According to the Minang culture that boys circumcised at age 9-10 years, we choose boys at 4 & 5 grades elementary school. Urine sample were collected from the subject who are circumcised and uncircumcised. The urine sample was midstream specimens and stored in sterile container, then checked by dipsticks urine. Positive results in leukocyte esterase or nitrit in dipstrick urine describe suspect of a urinary tract infection.
