I will ask them to close their eyes and I will say imagine that you're in the city, what can you see, hear and
do in the city? where is your favorite place in the city?
They will answer and we will discuss their answers.
Then I will introduce the new vocabulary with pictures in the computer.

Each student will take a pencil and follow my
instructions and listen to the directions carefully, for I will give each group a worksheet with road, tree
example I will say put the pencil in front of you or and traffic lights.

complete drawing and coloring. The instructions are
the following:
- The traffic lights say STOP! Color the light on top
red.
A car and a bicycle stop at the traffic lights.
Draw the car and the bicycle. Color the car green
and the bicycle blue.
On the right side of the city there is a shop. Draw the
shop.
There is a park in front of the shop. the girls are
walking in the park. Draw the girls and the park.
After they finish we will see if their drawing are
correct.
Then I will ask each group to talk about the
picture by saying at least one sentence.

Consider a review of what the students did during the practice activities and ensure that all

I will ask a question on the board and each group have to answer after the thinking time end.

The Process of the Lesson


Comments
Teaching Strategies Thinking time think pair share - thinking time was helpful
effective feedback because it give the students the
opportunity to think carefully
and discuss the answer with
their peers which improve their
communication skills.
-i used effective feedbacks like
good job but you have to be
careful about the spelling so
its effective because when I
give the feedback I praised the
student as well as correct the
mistake by doing that the
student will learn and will never
repeat the same mistake.
Classroom Management Praising -praising is helpful especially

because when they heard me
counting down them become
faster and finish their work in
order to get a point in the
reward system.
Assessment Strategies Open ended question -This approach was effective
because the students were
checklist thinking and give different
answers because each student
has a different point of view.
-checklist aided me to record
their performance and write
comments of the areas that
they need to develop and since
I will not be teaching them
anymore I gave it to the english
teacher.
General Comments
I found the thinking time strategy very useful.

Recommendations / future personal targets / areas of focus


in this lesson my focusing was to teach them a new vocabulary that linked to the city as well as
review and practice the directions vocabulary.
The lesson went well but of course need some improvements for the future, for example use more
than one learning style in the lesson so it will be better if I played for them a video of a city and
they tell me what they see in the video.
