Opening: Time: ______10 minutes_______
(consider prior learning, motivation, overview and the presentation of the learning outcome)
-Motivate the students by play the season song while I model and sing with them.
-Take them out to see and feel the weather.
-After they come back we will discuss about the weather as whole class.
- Then I will group them and illustrate the activities and what they will be able to know at the end of the class.

Activity 1 (whole class) Activity 2 (groups + whole class)

As a whole class I will tell the students about the Given an ice cubes for the groups they will feel the
seasons(spring, summer, fall, winter) and vocabulary ice cube and describe what they feel, then from the
related to seasons and put the flash cards on the clothes basket they will choose what they have to
board. Then we will model the words together. wear if they feel cold.

Activity 3 (group) Activity 4

In four groups, each group will have a small basket we will answer the student book.
that labeled with a season name and a printed paper
shaped as different kinds of clothes so they have to
match the correct clothes with the correct season by
putting them inside the basket.

Consider a review of what the students did during the practice activities and ensure that all
students are assessed for learning.

We will repeat the new vocabulary together, then I will ask the ending question for the groups, for
example what do we have to wear in winter?

Quick quiz: it was so helpful for
me in order to know who
understand the concept and
who need more practice, but
the bad thing was that I wasted
the time in correcting the books
and the class finished so I didn't
get the opportunity to give
them the closing question.
Recommendations / future personal targets / areas of focus
the lesson was perfect and the students were motivated because there was hands on activities and
different learning styles such as visual,musical and verbal which really meet my students needs
and interests. Bring a real clothes to the class really helped my students to understand the new
vocabulary and get used to it and which motivate them more that they tried to wear the scarfs and
sun glasses.
I think I achieved my goal and I had successful teaching in this class, but I think I must do better
than that and if time goes back of course I will change things, for example I will implement
individual activity because the class was all about group work.
