PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
I am a highly motivated and energetic music lover and K-12 music educator. I have strong communication skills and
am a team player. My number one passion as an educator is working with kids. On top of my 12 years of singing
experience, I am competent in playing a wide range of musical instruments including ukulele, saxophone, and
beginning piano. After having undergone vocal cord surgery in 2014, I am very passionate about vocal pedagogy and
vocal health. I am skilled in a variety of musical styles and am passionate about encouraging music diversity in the
classroom. I believe that music is the most important language there is. Music crosses all barriers language
barriers, cultural barriers, age barriers, etc. Music says what words cannot. Music should be raw. Music should be
genuine. Music should be vulnerable. Music should honest. Music is for everyone.
