Group Project assignment

Students in groups of not more than 5 persons (Malaysian Qualifying Board

Requirement) are expected to choose one of the specialized industries or GST.

Each group is to critically evaluate judgment passed on relevant case law on specialized

Choose 1 case per group and /or related cases if these cases are referred to and discuss.

Report Preparation

FORMAT OF REPORT

The report should normally have three sections: introduction, the text or the body matter
(summary of each journal / case) and the conclusion.

CASE

a. Introduction (a short paragraph to introduce the topic and relevant sections of the
Act)
b. Summary of case
c. Court Judgment (the highest court). Tabulate their judgements of the different courts
d. Conclusion

Typeface

Typeface to be used is Times New Roman and the font size is 12. The report should be
one and half space and written on BOTH side of the paper

A final report of about 12-15 pages (excluding appendix) is submitted for grading
including as appendix a hard copy of the cases print double sided as well). Just stapled
the report.

Cover page

Title of report say A Review of [name of Case]

Students names and ID and lecture section [AC004-6 or AC001-3].

Month & year of report [February 2018]

Presentation

Period: 22 Jan 9 Feb 2018

Final report submitted on the day of presentation.
