First of all I would like to thank all the English department for all the help and support, the
group directors and students for bringing in all the products that we asked for, the
administration deparment for helping with the logistics and providing everything we needed.
We are all here today, Friends, teachers, students, collaborators and directors, to give
thanks for everything we have been blessed with. This yearly tradition is one of my favorites
because it brings us all together, makes us stop our daily routines to spend the morning
together over some good breakfast and lots of good company! We are all so busy with our
daily lives, our jobs, our friends and loved ones, homework, exams, bills we have to pay,
and all these distractions that keep us from the things that are really important to life, there
are not that many occasions to get together as a family, but this is one of them, Its one of
those holidays we love to prepare as a team and chip in with our different recipes and add-
ins that we want to include to make our breakfast a little bit more special! So today, with
us all gathered here, I hope that we can make it through the day without any major
arguments, worries, fights, misunderstandings, resentments or hate and rather than just be
happy and thankful for everything that God has given us.
Dear God, Thank you for your amazing power and work in our lives, thank you for your
goodness and for your blessings over us. Thank you for your great love and care. Thank
you for your sacrifice so that we might have freedom and life. Forgive us for when we don't
thank you enough, for who you are, for all that you do, for all that you've given us. Help us
to set our eyes and our hearts on you. Renew our spirits, fill us with your peace and joy. We
love you and we need you, this day and every day. We give you praise and thanks, for You
alone are worthy! In the name of Jesus, Amen."
