Comments:
Glows: you are soft and nurturing and as the lesson went on became more aware and redirected behavior that was off task,
you were always positive
Grows/Ideas: classroom management will continue to grow, make sure you are redirecting when students are off task and
think about how you can praise the kids on task to encourage those to match it, also it is hard but use wait time and just sit
and wait until they are on task.

different ability levels.

few as an example

Intern circulates to check performance and monitor progress.
Intern varies level of questioning.
Intern ensures that all students have the opportunity to participate.
Comments:
Glows: as I have said before you ask really good questions that get kids to dig deeper, way to incorporate turn and talk and
then have them answer in complete sentences.

sure their work is quality before gluing it on.

what the students needed as you went
Grows/ideas: Make sure you talk about what you are doing or write down the standard to discuss at the beginning

Intern provides feedback on the correctness or incorrectness of in-class work to encourage student growth.
Intern affirms correct oral responses appropriately and moves on.
Intern provides sustaining feedback after an incorrect response by probing, repeating the question, giving a clue,
or allowing more time.
Comments:
Glows; Excellent job closing the lesson and having the kids share, also great job reaffirming when students would answer
with quality answers during read aloud
Grows/Ideas: something to try is to make students repeat back what they are doing to make sure they are comprehending
what to do and then also giving the appropriate wait time.
Strengths: Areas on which to focus:
Your questions were very good and make kids think When students are off task when others are talking, have
instead of just surface level questions. them repeat what the student just said or ask a question,
Way to start out asking about the background knowledge something to make them reengage with the person
with the book we had read speaking
Awesome job reaffirming kids answers and restating their Remember that even orally to make them answer in
answers complete sentences.
Way to be prepared Always model each part, especially when you are having
Excellent job to share out what they said to close the them write, it is always better for them to try and copy you
lesson but know what to correctly do the first time!
I love the way that I have given you feedback before about Classroom management will continue to grow as you get
how to dismiss to and from seats and you listened and did more practice and it even improved as your lesson went
that feedback, it makes kids realize you are part of the on, but continue to be strict and hold the students to high
routine. expectations- find the signal to get them back on track that
I liked how you had the sentence frames on the papers so works for you!
that it could move quickly (you kept a nice pace in the
