- White board - Make sure that the computer, projector, and

- Activity book - Prepare the carpet

Key vocabulary/ Target Language


- Under, next to, on, ducks, frogs, rabbit, tree,
lion, pond.

Opening (warmer activity + teacher introduction/demonstration of small group activities)

- Starting the class by saying: Good afternoon students, how are you today? After, make them
sing the head and shoulder song with the action as a warm up.

- Then, tell the students that todays class will have a role play and tell them what role play is.
Time: 20 mins
Whole

- After that, choose some students to do the role play. (2 students as 2 ducks, 3 students as 3
frogs, one student as a lion, one student as a rabbit, one student as a tree with a nut shaped
crown on top of her head, and the carpet as a pond.)

Guided Experience (group working with the teacher)

- While the students are ready to act, and the other are on their desks watching, I will put the
audio track on and tell them to say what the audio track is saying depending on the character.
Time: 20 min
Small

- Students will start the role play while I am watching them and giving them directions.

Independent Experience (small group activity 1)

- Students will solve questions in the activity book by themselves.


Independent Experience (small group activity 2)

- Students will solve questions in the activity book by themselves.

Independent Experience (small group activity 3)

- Students will solve questions in the activity book by themselves


Closing
5 min

- Clap 3 times to end the activities and let the students focus on me.

- Ask the students what was the thing they did in todays class to make sure that they understood what
were they doing.

WWW: Students loved the class since there was a role play, they understood the story.
