Raising Cane's Fundraiser
As of the 2017-18 school year, we are proud to
collaborate with our neighbor Raising Cane's Chicken
Fingers for an exciting fundraising opportunity! On each
of our designated DB nights, RC will donate 15% of
sales back to the DB athletic program represented on
that day! Skip cooking once a month and head over to
the Hampton location and support the Cavaliers!
NOVEMBER
Once again this year, we would like to pray for your deceased loved ones on this All
Souls Day. Please submit a deceased loved one's name by clicking the button below.
All are welcome to attend the Mass at 10am in the gym.
Their names will be placed in a basket for the All-School Mass and remembered throughout the
month of November - when the Church particularly prays for souls in Purgatory - especially on
Friday mornings when Eucharistic Adoration occurs.
Please click the button below to submit a name to Fr. Mike Lydon.

The Academy of Advanced Studies
Please review the exciting statistics about our first three graduating classes of the Academy of
Advanced Studies! Our exceptional students continue to excel through this rigorous program, and
your student can too! To learn more about the Academy, please visit here.
Over the last few years, we've noticed that a good number of our students' siblings attend other
area high schools. In an attempt to bring families together, we have increased our Family
Scholarships to $3,000 for the 2nd child and FREE tuition for child 3 and beyond. We realize the
financial strain attending multiple schools can have on families and we want to make Bishop
DuBourg the financially feasible choice for the entire family. While some high school's annual
tuition is upwards of $15,000 for one student - two siblings can attend Bishop DuBourg for
approximately $17,000. This comes before all other scholarships and tuition assistance. Incoming
freshmen are also eligible to receive a Presidential Scholarship worth $1500 each school year.
We want to take this opportunity to spread the word among our current families and alumni about
our scholarship opportunities. We hope that you in return will spread the word with families you
might know. We encourage you to take a look at the attached flyer for more details. If you have any
questions, please do not hesitate to contact Principal Bridget Timoney or Admissions' Director
Ryan Sykora.
Recent News
Laurie was a dedicated guidance counselor, but also went above and beyond her call of
duty by serving as a Kairos retreat leader, DB band booster, senior service chaperone, and
a chairwoman for Relay for Life, which raises money for the American Cancer Society.
Please keep Laurie and her family in your thoughts and prayers, especially her husband
Phil and their three daughters, Maddie '13, Molly '13, and Hannah '16. Please also pray for
our students, many of whom care dearly for their beloved Mrs. Moran. We all will miss her
greatly. May she rest in God's eternal peace.
