CONTRACT FOR SECURITY SERVICES

This agreement is made on the November 1, 2017 between M/S. VIRTUAL UNIVERSITY,
M.A. JINNAH CAMPUS, DEFENCE ROAD, OFF RAIWIND ROAD, LAHORE. (Hereinafter
called VU/CLIENT) of the one part and M/S SAFETY & SECURITY SERVICES (PVT) LTD,
EAMAAN TOWER, COMMERCIAL MARKET, CHAKLALA SCHEME III, RAWALPINDI
(Hereafter called the SAFETY & SECURITY SERVICES/CONTRACTOR) of the other part.
Both Safety & Security Services and Virtual University of Pakistan may hereinafter be referred
to individually as party and collectively as the parties. The parties do hereby agree to enter
the contract, as follows:-
NOW THEREFORE , in consideration of the payments to be made by Virtual University of
Pakistan (VU) to Safety & Security Services, in accordance with provisions set in the Terms
and Conditions described in this contract, Safety & Security Services undertakes to provide
the required number of security staff to Virtual University of Pakistan.
The terms and conditions of the tender document and this contract shall be valid for a period
of ONE YEAR. However, initially, the service will be hired on a six (06) months interim period.
After the completion of this period and upon satisfactory performance, the contract will be
extended for another period of next 06 months and so on.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PROVISION OF SECURITY SERVICES

SECTION 1

SCOPE OF SERVICE

1.1 Safety & Security Services will provide Security Staff / equipment as per detail given at
Annexure-A.

1.2 Number of guards required will be informed by VU in writing to SAFETY & SECURITY SERVICES
from time to time.

1.3 The services mentioned at Annexure-A (B) Extra requirement will be provided as and when
required by the Virtual University of Pakistan.

1.4 Guards will be healthy and medically fit and the age of guards should be in the range of 22 years
to 50 Years. Medical certificate of the guard(s) shall be submitted at the time of report.

1.5 Existing guards can only be hired (if required) after getting the consent of VU.

1.6 Guards will hold National Identity Cards as well as SAFETY & SECURITY SERVICES Identity
Card during duty hours.
1.7 Security Company will provide Pistol / semi-automatic shotgun to each armed Security Guard.
VU has the right to check the weapons performance at any time.
1.8 SAFETY & SECURITY SERVICES will provide 20 rounds to each guard.
