Education?

APA is the writing format that is mostly used for academic papers and journals
As a special education teacher, you should be familiar with all writing styles to help
students with their papers for school
What Writing Styles are Used?

In an interview with Heidi Howden, a high school special education teacher, she says that
her school system used four styles:
Expository Writing
Descriptive Writing
Persuasive Writing
Narrative Writing

In Wetport schools, they use a variety of different webpages to help with their students
writing.

How Much time is Dedicated to
Writing/Reading Journals?

As a teacher, there is not much time for reading and writing databases and journals
Students are giving time in class to start working and researching their topics for writing but
should also work on their writing outside of class
A special education teacher does not do much writing, instead they take time to help
their students with formatting, spelling, grammar, and organizing their ideas

Eyewitness accounts
Results of experiments
Statistical data
Pieces of creative writing
