- Vocabulary related to free time activities. Vocabulario relacionado con actividades de ocio.

II. LANGUAGE REFERENCE:

LOVE / HATE / LIKE / DONT MIND ______ING

Cuando dos verbos estn seguidos, y el primero de ellos es like, love, hate, dont
mind necesariamente tenemos que colocar al segundo verbo en su forma de gerundio.
Es decir, en la terminacin _ing. Ejemplo:

She likes cooking on the weekends.

We hate dancing salsa music.
I dont mind eating meat for dinner.
Steve loves going to the beach.

Note que se trata slo de una estructura gramatical que, por cierto, no cambia el significado
de las palabras u oraciones, en absoluto.

THE AFFIRMATIVE FORM:

They love going to the cinema.
He hates working in the garden.
She enjoys walking on the beach.
We like having parties at home.
They hate studying for exams.
I love listening to music
She loves travelling to foreign countries.
He enjoys reading the newspaper.
I like learning languages.
She loves playing computer games.

THE NEGATIVE FORM:

We dont like standing in line.
They dont enjoy travelling.
He doesnt hate cooking, but he doesnt enjoy it either.
She doesnt like working in an office, but she needs the money.
He doesnt enjoy talking on the phone.
I dont like going to the dentist.
 THE INTERROGATIVE FORM:
Do you like learning English?
Does she love travelling?
Do they hate working in the garden?
Did you like reading when you were a child?
Did you enjoy studying math at school?
Do they like playing computer games?

He likes playing computer games.

They love travelling.
