Keyes states that she loves the freedom that comes with being a CEO. She gets to
set her own schedule, define her own strategies for the business, and choose the clients
and projects for the business. (Brittney Morgan) By making her own decisions regarding
the company, Keyes has had many opportunities including traveling to Africa and Asia
to support the U.S. State department to help social entrepreneurs and publishing her

managed, as like crashing and hacking of servers. (Brittney Morgan) She also explains

The first beneficial outcome that comes to mind from being a CEO is the
privilege of planning your own schedule and being your own boss. Even though CEOs

need to account for the time being spent for work, there is still some freedom involved,
which is an important thing personally and can be a great thing if balanced correctly.
CEOs get to create the teams that will be working on the company and has the
advantage of creating the strategic plan for the companys goals. This allows CEOs to
set the cultural attitudes in the workplace and run the company as he or she would like.
Even though time consuming, it is rewarding in the end if or when the plan that
was set for the company was successful. Especially if the business is thriving from
successful business plans, this now ensures job stability and high compensation.
However, it is rewarding in itself to see the company grow and flourish from all of the
hard work and ambition. Let alone the jobs that were created in the process and the
benefits the successful business will have on employees and the community as well.
The first unfortunate outcome, however, is the fact that one out of many duties of
a CEO is not only to hire people, but to fire people as well. If someone is no performing
and it is affecting potential outcomes for the business to be successful, the CEO has to
make the hard decision to let them go or not. Not to mention the chance and
problems.
The workload and pressure of fulfilling the duties that come with being a CEO is
tremendous. A huge workload comes with a sacrifice of time as well. Being in charge of

the company will take up a good amount of time and energy, but ends up to be very
rewarding. As the head of the company, all of the important final decisions regarding
the company are up to the CEO and the CEO only. Others will be there for advice,
though the CEO is the one who makes the decisions and implements it, which affects
the entire business for better or for worse. Travel could be a big part of this job as well,
which could be either a bad thing, or a good thing depending on personal preferences.
I have always liked the idea of being my own boss. Even though CEOs need to
make the plenty of time it takes to run the business, it would be advantageous to be able
to plan my own schedule. Especially since I seem to be able to balance and plan my
time well. At least most of the time, and in my own opinion. The ability to be able to
own and run my own business with creating my own teams is also a big advantage,
Being a CEO is like being the leader of a company. Throughout my time spent in
college, I have found out about myself that I naturally become the leader of group
projects and I realized I actually enjoy and prefer it. I work well in teams, but I prefer
being able to assign the tasks and implement the goals of the group. I am someone who
likes to make sure that the tasks are in order and being done efficiently and that the
