This afternoon we are talk about modals. May, might shall are the example
modals.

A modal is a type of auxiliary verbs that is used to indicate modality, ability,


permission
or obligation.

May- expresses
a.) Permission, b.) Probability c.)Wish
Examples:
You may go home now.
It may be cloudy tomorrow.
May God bless you.
Might- is used to express less probability.

Example:
He told us he might come.
He might win the race.
Alex might be the topnotch this school year.
Shall-express suggestion in a Yes-No question
Examples:
Shall we eat?
Shall we go?
Shall we leave early?
