You can use column to find out the service name for a VM in new portal or else cloud service
name is your service name without cloudapp.net.

Ops, I hit post too early. When creating a VM click on Optional Configuration, Network, IP
Address. Select Reserved and then click on the arrow next to Reserved IP Address. On an
existing VM in the new poertal click on the VM then select IP address under
the Settings tab.

its very important that we need to create the VM with an existing VNET rather than assign a
general location like East Asia.
