CONDITIONAL START/STOP
Objectives:
Objectives:
Condition:
2. When PB2 and PB3 is pressed, RY2, Contactor 2 (CR2) and Solenoid
Valve 2 (SV2) and RY5 and Solenoid Valve 3 (SV3) will operate, respectively.
3. Using PB7 as a stop button, create a ladder diagram that consists of the
following;
PB5 for RY8 and Temperature Indicator 1 and RY9 and Temperature
Indicator 2
PB10 for Ry10 and Process Control, RY103 and Ready Indicator, and
RY104 and Alarm.
LEVEL DETECTION
Objectives:
1. To analyze the given conditions of Level Detection.
2. To understand the functions of each components of Level Detection.
Conditions:
1. When FS1 is triggered, Solenoid Valve 1 and 2 and the System Ready will
operate.
2. When FS2 is triggered, the alarm will work and the timer will start
counting.
3. After a specific set time, the buzzer will turn on.
4. While the buzzer is working, the solenoid valve 3 and 4 retracts. Solenoid
Valve 6 will move forward.
5. The operation will be interrupted using PB6.
Objectives:
Conditions:
1. When PB1 and PB2 is pressed, Temperature Indicator 1 and Fan 1, and,
Temperature Indicator 2 and Fan 2 will operate respectively. These relays will
de-energize when PB6 is pressed.
2. Process Counter will operate when PB3 is pressed. Using PB7, these
relays will stop working.
3. When Temp. Indicator 1 and 2 are working, Fan1 and Fan2 will operate,
respectively.
Objectives:
1. To understand and analyze Dependent Pressure Control.
2. To learn how a Dependent Pressure Control work.
Conditions:
1. When PB1 and PB2 are pressed, Solenoid Valve 1 (forward) and
Solenoid Valve 2 (forward) will operate respectively.
2. When Solenoid Valve 2 moves forward, only then, RY5 will work. The
Solenoid Valve 3 (forward) will operate. It is controlled by PB3.
3. When Pb4 is pressed, Solenoid Valve 1, 2 and 5 will retract and the
Buzzer will work. This set of operation will be turned off using PB7.
4. If RY5 is energized, Solenoid Valve 6 will move forward. When PB4 is
pressed. Solenoid Valve 7 (forward) will be energized if PB5 is
pressed. Note that SV6 and SV7 have an interlock connection. These
operations will turn off when PB8 is pressed.
Objectives:
1. To have further knowledge about Pressure Immediate Reversal.
2. To understand how Pressure Immediate Reversal work.
Conditions:
1. When PB8 is pressed, Solenoid Valve 6 will forward. But when PB9 (NC)
is pressed, it will stop operating.
2. When PB9 is pressed, Solenoid Valve 7 will work. When PB8 (NC) is
pressed, it will be deenergized.
3. Using PB7 as stop another set of operation is as follows:
PB1 for SV1
RY1 (NO) for SV2
RY2 (NO) for SV4
4. All operation in the ladder diagram will be interrupted when PB6 is
pressed.
