ABSTRAK
Regresi logistik multinomial merupakan perluasan dari regresi logistik dengan respon biner
yang dapat menangani variabel respon dengan kategori lebih dari dua. Pada setiap kombinasi
variabel prediktor, model regresi logistik multinomial mengasumsikan bahwa jumlahan dari
setiap kategori pada variabel respon berdistribusi multinomial. Regresi Logistik multinomial
melibatkan variabel respon dengan kategori lebih dari dua dengan skala nominal yaitu tidak
memiliki tingkatan serta variabel prediktor yang bersifat kategori atau kontinyu.

ABSTRAK
Multinomial logistic regression is an extension of logistic regression with a binary
response that can handle the response variable with more than two categories. At each
combination of predictor variables, multinomial logistic regression model assumes that the
sum of each category of the response variable multinomial distribution. Multinomial logistic
regression involves a response variable with more than two categories of the nominal scale
which does not have the levels and categories of predictor variables or continuous.

The estimation of the multinomial logistic regression model with nominal response is
