Dear Sir, ‘This has reference to your letter no, DFC/AD/CTP-SR/Corres/2017/VolV/138 dated 21 september 2017 received on 13 October, 2017 on the above subject, Your request for carrying out video praphie footage of package CTP-3R ROW area by Mis Sojitz-L&T-Gayatri Consortium, (SLTG) and Mis NK Consortium has been examined by this office. ir may be noted that this office has issued a public notice dated 7 Oct 2014 regarding the civil use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle/Unmanned Aircraft System (UAV/UAS) resticttig Non- Government Agencies, Organization and Individuals from launching UAS in India Airspace for any purpose whatsoever. DGCA has uploaded a draft circular on “Guidelines Jor Obtaining Unique Menritcerion Number (UIN) & Operation of Civil Unmanned Aireraft System (UAS) "in DGCA wrebsite Tor public comments, The comments received are being deliberated with the multiple vevcetmed agencies. Once finalized it will be published in DGCA website. Till such time regulations cerned by this office, no non-government agency, organization, oF an individual will use civil TAVIUAS in Indian Civil Airspace for any purpose whatsoever. However, issue of no-objection for use of UAS by Government organizations / PSU may be considered on case- to- case basis. itis understood that Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Ltd (DFCCTL), @ Govt of India Enterprise will be using services of private organizations (M/s SLTG Consortium & and M/s NK Consortium). In order to consider your request, an undertaking from DFCCIL is required stating that all responsibiltiesfobligations/liablitis ix.0 operations of UAS by the above mentioned private organisation forthe subject purpose shall be that of DFCCIL. Further technical specifications of UAS, operations details (such as coordinates, specific date, time etc.) and CTP-3R project details are also required This issues with approval of competent authority.
